Week 7: Fast Forward to 2020

It is done.

The last tape has played. All of the information that can be found from them has been discovered. They are free to re-watch the tapes, but nothing new can be found there.

The barrier will fail next Saturday. This is unavoidable. The barrier set by Tages will finally fall, and the curse will be free once more.

The only question is, what will those left alive in 2020 do to prepare?

I considered that they may.

[ Not only that but they knew he was a pretty strong addition to the team. It'd be good strategy for them to take him out first. ]

But seeing as I'm no longer restrained in my Caster form, I have more they'll need to deal with. And it's been twenty years.

I haven't been sitting around just twiddling my thumbs, after all.

Actually, that just raises further questions. I wonder why Archer hasn't mentioned you before.

I suppose not, but he did seem serious about protecting this world.

[He's thinking Gil would have been mentioned, even if it was just 'he's powerful, but don't go to him for help.'</small.]

Hmph. Perhaps he was.

But if he's so absorbed with an organization like the Foundation, he'd know better than to speak of me insolently or so prematurely. He can manage something like that at least.

[ Smirking ]

In addition to that, there were the circumstances of the barrier to account for, and my quick departure from the Foundation in of itself. And the simple fact that I knew how to cover my tracks expertly. No one unworthy will take notice of me, unless I willed it.
