Week 7: Fast Forward to 2020

It is done.

The last tape has played. All of the information that can be found from them has been discovered. They are free to re-watch the tapes, but nothing new can be found there.

The barrier will fail next Saturday. This is unavoidable. The barrier set by Tages will finally fall, and the curse will be free once more.

The only question is, what will those left alive in 2020 do to prepare?

Yes, hi - sorry to interrupt since I know it's finals week for a lot of schools right now, but I'm actually graduating this year from my high school and heard rumors - good rumors that this school had some of the best engineering teachers in the entire state.

And since I'm actually planning on majoring in engineering with a specific interest in technology in particular, I had an interest in what the teacher is like in person.

[she still keeps her polite tone and massive genuine interest]

I see! Yes, yes, we have an excellent engineering school here! If you're interested in research like I am, we oversee more than a dozen research centers. My own specialty is-- well, you've read some of my publications, I assume?

Research is probably one of my fortes, of course.

Exposing people's secrets is wrong, and even though my little brother is nosy - we wouldn't tell anyone. If you don't believe us... well, it's a little cliche, but back home, pinky promises are important to us.
