A sixth week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. It's feeling more and more like something's about to break.

There isn't any increase in Miasma, but you can tell it seems...excited. Overjoyed, like a predator bracing itself for the chase of the hunt. The fog is everywhere, and inescapable...

The Temperature is holding stead at the 50's, and nippy to need a layer or two. As before, the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.

I think... I'm still thinking about one of the last notes we found. About... a-about her being determined to make more 'children.' About the little spiders being told to go back to her.

I think... between dying and being Vessels, the p-people we lost a-all went somewhere and something... h-happened to them. So. There's... there's a transition between, um, between being 'meat' and being her 'child,' right? So, um...

[Not quite a birth, but the closest analogue she can think of is the 'egg sac' metaphor.]

Well, it, it started here when she lost her, um... well, the brood she made when she arrived here, right? So, since then...

Many types of spiders are independent from the moment they hatch, but there are some that are still taken care of by the mother for a while. She liquifies the food and feeds them until they’re ready to leave the web...

[ and they had talked about the cocoons.... ]

So those spiders we saw could have been part of her children, if we want to take it literally. And, if that’s the case, there would be more where that came from, all of them...waiting to hatch.

She's had, um... she's had nearly eighty years, at this point. It might be that, um, that she has to...

And considering they're saying that tomorrow will be a feast, then...we will become the food for those children. Aside from whatever they must have done to the previous teams that had come here.
