RECORDING 16: THE FINAL WEEK.

A sixth week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. It's feeling more and more like something's about to break.

There isn't any increase in Miasma, but you can tell it seems...excited. Overjoyed, like a predator bracing itself for the chase of the hunt. The fog is everywhere, and inescapable...

The Temperature is holding stead at the 50's, and nippy to need a layer or two. As before, the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.

13 of your number still remain.

...How will this all end...?

MIASMA LEVEL: 4

Do we know the ways the harder-hitting ones might have been limited in death?

If we can think about how they've operated up until now...

I'm not quite sure I follow. I don't think that I've seen anyone that's been limited in their powers, aside from maybe Battler.

Maybe less about their limitations but more or less the simple fact that Subete's attacks seem to operate a certain way.

He seems to be also to 'capture' or 'take' words and stores them in monsters in order to weaken the concept to the detriment of the enemies he's against. This can have an effect on the environment or even on the person. Considering the man's capable of magic, that in combination with this can make him a terrible foe.

You've seen the results of his meddling through these weeks, and therefore you can infer what I mean.

The easiest way to counter whenever he's stolen a word would be to defeat the monster, though he doesn't necessarily seem only capable of storing the words within monsters, so targeting the word on its own may have an effect as well. As long as the attack isn't something like a blade or a bullet.

Does the monster become physical? Would there be an effect if I were to touch these monsters? Or would it have to be the words before being combine with them?

The monster can become physical, so I do believe that your power would have an effect on it, but I'm not sure what it'd be, or any of those details. Therefore unfortunately, I wouldn't know what would happen if you did so before or after it became physical.

[ Since he's not a nullification expert, but from what he remembered, it involved touching a physical person/whatever in order to make nullify happen. ]

But at the least when it's in a tangible form, it can actually be hit by physical attacks such as a regular bullet or sword. However, the deathblow will be required to be done by magic or something magical in some way, shape, or form.

[ So try not to fight the monster without a mage in the room, otherwise you're fucked. ]
