RECORDING 16: THE FINAL WEEK.

A sixth week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. It's feeling more and more like something's about to break.

There isn't any increase in Miasma, but you can tell it seems...excited. Overjoyed, like a predator bracing itself for the chase of the hunt. The fog is everywhere, and inescapable...

The Temperature is holding stead at the 50's, and nippy to need a layer or two. As before, the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.

[Oh how the tables have tabled. First off, the spider gets well and duly impaled by the sword, letting off clouds of miasma as a couple of the legs twitch and scrabble at the blade in a weak attempt to pull it out. As a result, there's no real resistance to Ky's grab to pull the leg out and it's a sitting duck for the kick, body reeling as it pulls back with its legs scrambling in a quick and awkward retreat.

However, its three-legged half quickly comes to its rescue as threads of miasma seem to coalesce between the two parts as they rejoin back into one unit, albeit with the 'wounds' still leaking out a noxious-looking mist. It almost looks like it's about to lunge once again, but Battler's announcement rings out and it stills.

[She is tense to continue to the battle, but... then it just ends.

Still on the alert, she doesn't dare take her eyes off it as she reaches over to try to drag Ky back and away from this particular piece of spider hell.]

We have some bandages left and we can probably still stitch the wound closed if it's needed. We'll have to clean it too, but we're almost out of disinfectant--if not, we'll have to resort to alcohol.. Marona, I can guide you if you need any help.

[ he'll be calling out to anyone near by. ]

Does anyone else have any medical supplies that they may have kept to themselves? We need to compile them all!

Hah... not exactly how I pictured myself getting treated by a real Doctor instead of a Water user.

[ Well he frowned for a moment, because lol medical supplies on his end. But, it was around this time he kind of recalled something when he went to speak to Seteth privately the week before he died.

Anyway. He'll just leave without saying anything, and then come back with these white flasks. There's like two. ]

I'd seen these before and they appear to look like they may be capable of healing properties. Feel free to use them or examine them more as you wish.

[ Though he said this to Romani he also looked at Ky for a moment in between conversation. That being said, he won't entirely be surprised if there was some hesitance, but his intuition's pretty good...and they do smell like medicine probably?? Because medicine solution in flasks. ]

[ that doesn't matter. if the king says they have healing properties, then he'll trust him. he looks exhausted, but gives gilgamesh a small, thankful smile as he takes them. ]

Hmph. It's only natural that I'd have lent my assistance through this mess.

[ ...and honestly, he's kind of both immensely relieved and amazed Romani came out not injured.

Also, he's kind of a little proud that Romani was so brave. Something to file away for later and a piece of knowledge to verbally kick someone in the balls with if they dared called him a coward or such nonsense. ]
