RECORDING 15: THE FIFTH TRIAL.

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where all the trials so far have taken place. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - Ango, standing as firm and unyielding as ever, waiting for the time when the trial is scheduled to begin.
On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.
Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.
One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.
...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?
The choice is up to you.
PEOPLE TO VOTE OUT: 2

he's slamming his hand on the wall, letting it echo for everyone to finish beating hikage up or whatever and getting back to him. ]
Alright, we've found the killer for Battler Ushiromiya. Now we have to focus all of our attention on finding Giovanni's killer! I wonder how much help Hikage can be, but I highly doubt it.

He said he could construct a bomb. Prove me wrong."]

Seriously though. He admitted he could build a bomb. Show me one other person who could build a bomb. One other."]

[ that is...actually terrifying. ]
I don't understand. Why would anyone?

We've already an idea for the skillset of this killer. Familiar enough with a firearm, but also well-skilled in technology enough to mess with a light and created what appeared to be an improvised explosion.

- that matches Dr. Neis and Vasterstrom.

That it would. I've currently seen no other viable candidates at this time. Though, that can change.
Of course, possessing the know-how would mean they'd know how to clean up after themselves. But it's not impossible to probably find something incriminating on their person, considering the mess that it was to begin with.
It'd be more of a matter of knowing where to look.

The situation seems to have begun in front of the kitchen. Someone standing in front of the armory fired two shots in the direction of the dining room, as evidenced by the bullet casings next to the armory. However, this gun was filled with blanks. Two blanks were found by the front of the dining room. I assume those two are the shots fired.
Giovanni-san fought back. tomato soup covered the halls, but was particularly found at the kitchen door and the floor in front of it. From then on, a battle seems to have ensues, as damage shows various decorative items and some smaller items strewn between the dining room and armory, and then from there to the wine room. This was likely Giovanni chasing the person who shot them, leading them to the wine room, which they had previously prepared, including tampering with the light switch.
From there, we have a less clear idea of what happened. We do know that osmething happened to melt and burn down the wiring of the lights. We also know that what appears to have been a localized explosion happened there. Afterwards, Giovanni's body was transferred across to the Dressing Room, where his body was burnt.
The first step, I feel, should be figuring out what exactly happened in the wine room. There is still a great deal of evidence we need to examine.

[ he puts a hand on his hips, thinking. ]
If the soup he was throwing was hot enough, could it have caused a short circuit? And, with the alcohol, it could be the source of the explosion.

The killer seemed to have also brought that in, I assume, for whatever reason, as it was not present in the wine room before.
