RECORDING 15: THE FIFTH TRIAL.

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where all the trials so far have taken place. As all of you enter, the Vessel is there - Ango, standing as firm and unyielding as ever, waiting for the time when the trial is scheduled to begin.
On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.
Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessel...and each other.
One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.
...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?
The choice is up to you.

These match up. I think it's pretty safe to say that these were probably fired using this gun, and then they decided to dispose of it in the bathroom while cleaning up.

It's not hard for someone near those approximate heights to adjust their stride if they're in the wrong-sized boot, is it?

I guess that would make sense. There weren't any footprints found on the other scene, so it would be pointless to dispose of boots there, if we're assuming that's what was actually burned.

The culprit's shots were too precise to suggest any sort of impairment of the individual. And the clean-up afterward speaks to someone meticulous about details. So why, then, is there a footprint in that case but not a case where guts were exploding and set on fire?

I assume the explosion was caused by someone else, though. There isn't much connecting the two cases, and if you're going to set a scene up to frame someone, you'd probably do it for both. No need for all the fire, either.
