A fifth week, and this is now definitely routine. Waking on friday, with the knowledge deep down that your number has yet again decreased.

You must still pull yourself from your bed, and discover who is now forever gone.

The Miasma is choking, almost triumphant as you search the hallways -

looking for the ones that have had their lives cut short so cruelly...

[Going to split the body invest and room invest portions here, so Ky is the lucky man with the body.

As he approaches, he'll notice the corpse is lying on his back, with both arms spread slightly to the side - forearms bent upwards and hands bent down with fingers curled in fists, his knees also bent slightly - the classic contortions of a body being badly burned.

Around his neck is a golden pendant, shaped a bit like a cat's face with a green gem in the middle. Though it is a bit tarnished and ashy, it seems as if it stayed surprisingly in tact, though it's wearer did not - a large chunk in the middle of his torso is gone.

It's hard to look at the extent of the burn damage, but though the body no longer has any hair, a large enough portion of his face still remains to show Ky just exactly who this is.

Giovanni Potage is dead.]

[Who would do this? Who would kill anyone, especially him in such a horrible way?!

A chunk in his torso is gone... He tentatively looks at the missing section in his torso, did - something explode in him?]

[It really almost looks like that - Some of the lower ribs have been completely broken off, with the other visible ribs being heavily broken and damaged, exposing what's left of his internal organs.

Like the rest of him, these have also been heavily burnt - in fact, most of him ranges from heavy burns, with some of his joints having all the flesh burnt away. Still, it isn't a complete, all flesh stripped away everywhere burning - it's a bit like he's...almost half cooked, like the fire didn't have enough time to really condense him down to charcoal.]

[He swallows, the smell was causing his stomach to knot up. When did it start to bother him? Was it because he recognizes who it was...?

It's strange... did...? He leans in, delicately sniffing. Does he smell alcohol on Giovanni's body?]

[A bit, though it seems the smell is coming more from the ground than gio.]

[He sits up, carefully, he'll Examine the necklace before taking it, someone will want it as a momento. Then after that, if it was what it looked like... Then he'll... take a closer look at the guts for fragments]

[The necklace is mostly fine, if tarnished from the fire and ashy.

There's also not much else in the guts or front that haven't already been covered, though there is still that shattered glass on the floor.]

[He wraps the necklace up, and proceeds to turn Gio's body over, what does it show on the back?]

[ It's good someone has his back in these trying times.

Flipping him over will reveal that some of his outfit, being the foundation uniform, was spared. There are some bloodstains on it however.

Ky will also find that there were a couple of items that made their way underneath him. There's a pair of knitting needles, and a rather distinct red and yellow gun. There's also a logo that Ky may recall from his usual outfit. ]

[He copies the logo on a notepad. He'll closely examine the gun and knitting needles]

[ The logo itself is a sideways 'W'. If Ky has ever seen it, he would know it's Giovanni's Banzai Blasters peashooter. There's nothing else of note about them. ]

[Hm... now, let's take a look at the bloodstains, Anything weird about their placement?]

[ Only that it looks like its consistent with being dragged through blood.

He will feel that is all he can find from the body. ]

[He sets Giovanni back in the position, he was, making another sign of the cross before getting up to see if Marona needs help]
