Today's trial was a mixture of regret, anger, guilt, and second-thoughts. Perhaps some people realized that situations and choices weren't to be black or white. However, decisions were made, and whether it'd be through people keeping secrets or causing a ton of chaos...everyone could probably agree on one thing:

They've made their choices and no matter what happened in the coming days, they will lie in the beds they made for themselves. Whatever that should mean for each and every single person still living here.

That being said, there's still new choices to make. In the days to come, what will those be?

A tactic wild animals will use to keep themselves safe. They bear coloring or traits that scare away potential predators, despite being vulnerable themselves. That is why viceroy butterflies are so brightly-colored. They mimic the look of monarch butterflies, which are known to be poisonous, in hopes that predators will assume they are monarchs and avoid them.

So, would you prefer...a viceroy butterfly, or a golden retriever? Ah, both are animals the average person shouldn't be so cruel to, though, ahahahaha...!

[ wow he's being Seen?? Giovanni tries to ignore the implications about his lack of evilness, which are very rude, and focus on the animal metaphors at hand. ]

Ugh, no, I don't want to be a butterfly! Those things don't have any combat skills! What am I gonna do, pollinate at my enemies?!

[ He picks up his cards and starts sorting through them with maybe a little more annoyance than the card themselves have warranted. ]
