From the white lights, the darkness comes...

Today's trial was a mixture of regret, anger, guilt, and second-thoughts. Perhaps some people realized that situations and choices weren't to be black or white. However, decisions were made, and whether it'd be through people keeping secrets or causing a ton of chaos...everyone could probably agree on one thing:

They've made their choices and no matter what happened in the coming days, they will lie in the beds they made for themselves. Whatever that should mean for each and every single person still living here.

That being said, there's still new choices to make. In the days to come, what will those be?

Ah... red or purple, maybe?

[ He still would have said blue a week ago, but these are supposed to be good colors for him, right?

...He'll just kind of ignore the bar as he looks through things. ]

Mostly I'd just like for them not to be thrown away.

Red is my favorite color. Is it the same for you? [ A nod at the last bit as he goes on flowerquest 2k20. He crouches and looks under the card table, and aha--a red flower and a green flower! A pause as he pulls them out and stands back up again. ]

I'm... not sure.

[ An extremely wishy-washy answer to a simple question. ]

I always defaulted to blue because it seemed fitting for my name, and it was the color of our flag and uniforms and everything. ...Crow said last week that this was a good color for me, though. [ Touching his necklace again... still not 100% sure he wasn't just being messed with, but he's managed to convince himself it's true, at least. ] And I think red is more exciting than blue anyway.

[ It's the color of a lot of things he likes. Like roses and that wine they shared the other night and Jade's eyes--

He could pretty easily get lost in that train of thought, but at the sight of those paper flowers, he perks up a little. ]

Red is more exciting than blue. [ He walks over to Saphir and offers him the red one. ]

And Crow was right too, red does look good on you. [ Said with a smile that he holds until he looks at the other flower in his hand. Green, huh. He kind of... gives it a frown and shakes his head, then puts it away in his cloak somewhere. ]

I'll keep looking, I want to find a red, orange, yellow, blue and purple one if possible.

O-oh. [ He tucks his hair behind his ear and smiles, accepting the flower. (It's toilet paper, Saphir.) ] Thank you.

[ He'll definitely have to stick with this color, then... Maybe Hikage will want to keep looking at him. ]

I-I'll look with you! [ Offered very quickly!! And he'll go around to the other side of the bar to see if maybe some got thrown back there... ] One of every color, hm?

Sure. [ There probably are some back there because people were drunk and drunk people throw stuff everywhere. ]

Mmhmm. While red is my favorite, I like how all the colors look together too. It helps in a dreary place like this.

[ He had definitely thrown some at Crow himself, so yes, it seems like a good bet. ]

That's true. There is always something satisfying about seeing them all together in the order of the spectrum, too.

[ Let's see-- ]

Ooh, there are quite a few back here, actually! Some more red, here's blue and yellow... purple, I think?

[ Or maybe it's blue again, the lighting in here sucks. Anyway, lining them up on the bar as he picks them up! ]

[ He's just smiling at that because hell yeah he likes rainbows, but saying that out loud is a bit too much sometimes. ]

I'm glad he made so many, though I didn't see the point at the time. [ He picks up all of them minus the purple. ]

You said you wanted a purple one too, right?

Oh, well, yes. Only if there's more than one, though. So-- so we can each have one.

[ So he will also leave it there for the moment! And get down on his knees to check under things back here. ]

...But if you do want to show me how to make them sometime, I wouldn't mind that either.

That's kind of you, but if we don't find any more I have my hair. [ That might be a bad joke but his hair is basically the perfect shade for the rainbow so. ]

Sure, I can do that. You'll have to paint them on your own though, as that's all too messy for me. [ He's gonna look in the chairs that are left, maybe some of them get lost in the cushion. ]

I suppose that's fair, as long as you're satisfied with it.

[ It is a nice color... Still definitely going to try to find this purple flower, though. Or make one. ]

I don't mind getting a little dirty when it's in the service of making something.

[ As was probably evident this week from all the grease and everything he was getting on him while working on his projects in the lab.

Hm, hm... there are a few here, but not in colors he's very excited about. ]
