From the white lights, the darkness comes...

They've made their choices and no matter what happened in the coming days, they will lie in the beds they made for themselves. Whatever that should mean for each and every single person still living here.
That being said, there's still new choices to make. In the days to come, what will those be?

Anyway awesome, he'll wait for a moment to get Gin's assent, because he would see what the other man would say first. He was like, literally the other half of the plan after all.
And if not, he supposed he could figure something out. ]

You called, King?
[He's the slightest bit insincere with the title still, but he currently respects Gil more than at least half the people here, so.]
even though its meeting, private time
And, well even if there was slight insincerity, he referred to his title properly this time.
Anyway, he'll wait until other people have left and close the door behind them. He's given enough time if people say they wanted to assist or not, so.
His eyes flashed a color that was kind of amber for a moment before receding back to red. ]
I have.
I'm not blind to the fact that abilities have been affected, including the state of barriers. As a Caster, I should be able to increase the strength of the barriers as well. Enough so that it should hold for awhile, with even a few more additional people.
[ Because...defensive/magic spell buffs. He was capable of those. ]
Even so, it's safe to presume that the creature will attempt to interfere, on account that this would still mean some lives were preserved outside of its game in order for the barrier to remain as it was.
Some of the others have discussed ways to cause damage to this place. I've no doubt that doing so could weaken it for awhile to allow the barrier to still hold even with Subete's inclusion, and even if they don't, my own arsenal would be something for it to contend with.
Keep in mind that this isn't necessarily the end all be all plan, but it's something we're discussing now since it could be viable, despite everything.
I'm willing to hear strategic thoughts and questions on this, naturally, including input because I do know more about Gin's barriers from the trial as opposed to yours.
[ Glancing at Wei. ]
private time \o/
I can make a barrier around an area, but it takes longer than what Gin or Subete can do. It takes an array of some sort. Carvings or a painting on the floor or even if I make enough dots for it to connect.
I've also been working on a side project related to this, which would just be in case we fail here. In case we need to Contain this place to keep it from luring anyone else inside.

Would that be long enough to get your barrier up? [A look over at "Mo"]

That should be long enough. I've already started to lay down the ground work.

[ That's the strength of a Caster. You make preparations so that when you're able to strike, you're able to do so with more of an incredible force than before.
...At the very least these two were part of the few who seemed to be competent. He couldn't say the same of others, but, you know. He was putting his trust in them ... to a point. ]
With the powers of us all combined perhaps the future would look a little less bleak despite the idiocy we've faced so far.
Now that we've agreed on a tentative plan of sorts, we need to plan a date to enact this in case all else fails.
With the rate our situation is going, I'd give it about two weeks at best, and that's being generous. I'm not just factoring into the killings, but also considering the general amount of incompetence, and accounting for the unpredictable.
