Today's trial was a mixture of regret, anger, guilt, and second-thoughts. Perhaps some people realized that situations and choices weren't to be black or white. However, decisions were made, and whether it'd be through people keeping secrets or causing a ton of chaos...everyone could probably agree on one thing:

They've made their choices and no matter what happened in the coming days, they will lie in the beds they made for themselves. Whatever that should mean for each and every single person still living here.

That being said, there's still new choices to make. In the days to come, what will those be?

While we are at it... This is not particularly important, but...

There is a chance that something might happen if we put the diary back together. Not merely reading the pages as we have done before, but actually putting the diary back together.

That being said... I still do not know for certain if we have all the pieces or not. Still, if they are put back together, they may become a tool to help us later.

...Or they might form to become a physical embodiment of the curse and release more miasma. It might also do nothing at all beyond having everything put together. Either way, it is something to think about.

...The fact that you suggested that it may become a physical embodiment of the curse and release more miasma is enough of a reason to not put it back together in my mind. That just sounds like it'd kill us all faster in such a ridiculously stupid way that no one could even call it merely foolishness or incompetence anymore.

It does sound like 1/3 chance of it doing anything of use. That means we shouldn't.

Is is simply an idea I had, and the potential ways it could go right or wrong. it is ultimately up to you all to decide what to do with it.

It may not change anything... but some pages may have new meaning now that we have context.
