Today's trial was a mixture of regret, anger, guilt, and second-thoughts. Perhaps some people realized that situations and choices weren't to be black or white. However, decisions were made, and whether it'd be through people keeping secrets or causing a ton of chaos...everyone could probably agree on one thing:

They've made their choices and no matter what happened in the coming days, they will lie in the beds they made for themselves. Whatever that should mean for each and every single person still living here.

That being said, there's still new choices to make. In the days to come, what will those be?

[ An odd sight indeed. He never knew the man to practice, because of the simple fact he's never seen it, and Gilgamesh had seen much around the house. The only one who had bothered to do as much as a blade seemed to be Ky. ]

I've never seen you bother doing this before. Nor was I aware you would need to.

[He's not going to stop just because Gil has joined, he's much more worried about how silent Shinsou has gotten recently.]

All swordsmen take time to practice with their swords. Just because my sword is a part of myself, doesn't mean I can skip it.

Speaking of practice, however, I remember speaking to that boy [ before that irritating 'incident' ] and he mentioned noticing changes in his magic. As I understand it, your sword's doesn't have magic properties, but it is unusual for the reason you have described.

And given your nature, considering the state of this wretched place, I can't help but wonder if there's been changes on your end as well.

[Gin slows minutely, the barest bit of surprise evident. He wasn't sure when he had slipped enough to give out much info on Shinsou. He gamely continues on though, until he finishes the kata and moves to face Gil straight on.]

You're asking if Shinsou has been affected? Or that my other skills have been.

[Shinsou is a bit of a sore subject, especially as his voice gets farther away by the day.]

[ He supposed he could've asked about the man's other skills first, but there was the moment in that first trial with the sword, which hardly made it seem normal more or less. As well as the strange feel of it in the first place. ]

Though, I suppose it could be worth asking about your other skills as well.

[Gin spends several long moments assessing Gilgamesh. Seemingly, he must find something in the look in Gil's stance, since he acquiesces to answer the implied question.]

...You could say Shinsou is the root of my other powers. They would not exist if he did not.

Oh? Well, I suppose that's not really all that surprising. All powers do come from somewhere.

[ An explanation was an explanation, though it wasn't the question he asked exactly. But in a way he was moving on from Shinsou, so if Gin wanted to take the low hanging fruit, he could. ]

Has there been much of an effect on those abilities?
