RECORDING 12: THE FOURTH TRIAL.

The worst has happened... and now you're all here, in the living room where all the trials so far have taken place. As all of you enter, the Vessels are there - Flayn in her darkly pious glory, and Haku, ever the perfect shadow at her side.

On one of the tables away from the center is a small enclosed box entitled 'VOTES', with slips of paper nearby and a pen. It's sufficiently away from what will be the 'main' action, but not enough to really give anyone complete privacy as they vote.

Once everyone is inside, the doors automatically shut and lock themselves, leaving you trapped in here with the Vessels...and each other.

One of you is a murderer...however, in this game, the guilty do not need to be voted out. As long as there are enough people voted out that matches the victims...then it will be accepted.

...But, can you really let someone get away with murder...?

The choice is up to you.

VICTIM: Ango Sakaguchi
PEOPLE TO VOTE OUT: 1

You’ve already seen the one that protects doorways, most are similar but larger.

I did, but I never ran headfirst into it either. I don't know what it actually does when something hits it.

[A fair point! Gin smiles easily enough, and takes a step back before he mutters a long incantation. In response, a yellow tinted barrier forms in between them. Gin steps first several steps to the side, then backs away from the barrier. It remains in position.]

Typically, they act as a wall does. Some higher level ones might have other effects, but Kidou was never my main focus.

[Okay testing time! He's going to tap it lightly with the butt of his gun to get a feel for the... texture of it (look what do you want me to say??) before tossing a couch cushion at it. What happens?!]

So it's nothing too weird, huh.

[It would probably be a bit like tempered glass or plastic, very sturdy but with the ability to reflect some minor impacts. The butt of his gun connects solidly but doesn't zoom off or anything from the impact and the pillow flops lifelessly to the floor.]

Depends on your definition of 'weird' but nothing special.
