A fourth week, and this is now definitely routine. Waking on friday, with the knowledge deep down that your number has yet again decreased.

You must still pull yourself from your bed, and discover who is now forever gone.

Chances are he was more concerned with someone either sabotaging his efforts, killing him, or giving away the information to the entity when he died.

Triple agent spy types don't tend to be the trusting sort.

[ So basically this read to him that Ango likely considered the very same thing he had in regards to the voting list.

Granted, the circumstances were different, but really. How was this acceptable if they had intended to reveal the names to make people not distrust each other? ]

Well, I suppose there's nothing to be done about this foolishness.

[ This was tiring to go through, though. This wasn't even about losing faith in people anymore. ]

But, I have to know. Did you find this acceptable? I assume he swore you to some form of secrecy and that's why you kept your mouth shut in the first place. Unless I'm wrong about that too.

He did, and I don't find it unacceptable when everyone here is affected to different degrees of paranoia and the like.

It wasn't something I considered until after our conversation, however, heika.

Ango himself was not immune. If anything... I don't know what kind of effects his investigations would have had on him. He was tightlipped about that and only let slip very recently that he was getting the more intensely traumatic things with his investigations even when he tried for other information.

[ Well, despite his misgivings, he believed that there was far too short of a time for them to act on this, and the answer wasn't an excuse. So...

It was time to move on. They could argue if some other nonsense popped up or anything later. ]

If you haven't managed to gather a sufficient group or adequate search party, let me know. As you've stated, we're running on short time as it is.

[ It did seem he had some people who volunteered to assist already, so there was that. The information was likely undoubtedly valuable, though, so if more helping hands were needed so be it. ]

I'm aware. I think we have a decent search party for the time being. In the meantime, please continue to take care to help with the investigation and trial, if you're able, Gilgamesh-sama.

[ That's good. He kind of idly wondered if there was a way for the ghosts not to know they've obtained that information in the first place, at least for this week following the trial.

He's thinking, but in the middle of that, he'll offer an easy answer. ]

I've every intention of doing so. If the killer believes that they're to be granted mercy due to the motive, they're sorely mistaken.
