RECORDING 11: THE FOURTH MURDER.

A fourth week, and this is now definitely routine. Waking on friday, with the knowledge deep down that your number has yet again decreased.

You must still pull yourself from your bed, and discover who is now forever gone.

...But, wait.

What's that smell...?

[While they start stepping, they might notice the gun lying a little bit away near door 1.

Ky, being so used to lightning magic, will also notice traces of it coming from near room 2, but it's oddly muddled.]

Wait, hold up -

[ Giovanni pauses to take a closer look at that gun. Does it have any identifying features at a glance? Is it covered in the culprit's fingerprints? (Hey, he can dream.) ]

...I was about to say that.

There's lightning magic coming from around here.

[while Giovanni looks at the gun, he closes his eyes and breathes in, concentrating. Can he focus on that trace to get a clearer picture?]

[Sadly, it looks like your normal standard issue Foundation gun. It does look like it was fired recently, though.

As for the magic...No. It's Seriously mixed with something indecipherable, though it's clearly lightning magic.]

Getting anything from that magic?

[ Giovanni holds on to the gun for evidence, tucking it away in whatever hyperspace pocket he keeps his knife-bat and the rest of his stuff in. Is there anything else out of place nearby? ]

No... it feels like something's in it, nothing I can pick up... It's strange.

I - I can't really describe what it is.

[As they follow the blood trail, they might notice that it goes from darker to lighter - not in color, but in the trail, as if the person wrapped inside of it bled out rather quickly.

As they get closer to the doorway of the east hall, they'll notice a shattered potted plant lying sadly nearby the doorway. A horrible victim of the crime.]

Great. Not only are we probably dealing with another murderer, we're also dealing with someone who attacks innocent plants!

[ Anything unusual about the plant, other than the broken pot? ]

[Is there a way to tell from its position that The plant was nudged/knocked off by say someone falling against it while dragging something heavy? Or it just fell down?]

[Well, it looks like none of those happened. It's like the pot just suddenly shattered.

...Actually, there's a glint of something lodged in the dirt.]

Huh...?

[he carefully moves dirt to see what that glint is]

[It's a 9mm bullet.]

[Is there anything special about it?, like blood on it?]

[Just a bullet!

Gonna keep following that bloodtrail?]

[yep - though he'll collect the bullet]

[Good! He'll see that the blood trail, of course, leads to the ice room - but if he looks down, he'll see another glint of a bullet right nearby the lab door on the ground.]

[He makes a note. Is it the same type? and does it have blood on it?]

[It is the same type, and nope, still no blood on this one.

There's another glint in a table nearby, on the other side of the doorway.]

[Guess another bullet for his... collection? He's heading over to check that glint

[It's Another bullet, this time buried into the table! 9mm, no blood, etc etc.

That seems to be all you can find from this area...though you might want to check out the gun you found?]

[He will. Do they look like they came from the same gun?]

[Well, the foundation guns are all 9mm, so yes.]

[He goes to look at the clip. How many rounds are there?. Thank goodness firearms training was mandated at the Foundation or else he might not think of it]

[There are 11 bullets left.

You feel as if you've gotten all you could.]

[He wraps up all the evidence before taking it with him. Of course, keeping the clip out of the gun itself]
