RECORDING 11: THE FOURTH MURDER.

A fourth week, and this is now definitely routine. Waking on friday, with the knowledge deep down that your number has yet again decreased.

You must still pull yourself from your bed, and discover who is now forever gone.

...But, wait.

What's that smell...?

[He won't, but he will lift his head to sniff that weird smell apparently in the air? Anything of note here in room 6?]

[Oh, it smells like there's blood outside.]

[Shit. Shitshitshit. He jumps down and tracks the smell of the bedroom hall]

He'll try and trick it open since he doesn't wanna scare anyone by yeowling at the door]

[Rosa turns out of her bed and looks around...

Shit, it's one of those days. At least she wasn't hung-over. Why not patrol a little bit?]

[There is the smell of blood coming from outside...]

[That's already triggering flashbacks, but she lifts an arm over her nose and presses onward into the hall...

She'll go up and down to check outside all of the rooms.]

As she opens her door, She'll be greeted with a grisly sight.

There is blood pooled against the door of room 2 and onto the hallway - a lot of blood. The worst of it is close to room 2, but the rest seems to flow out towards the lower half of the hall.

Rosa will be able to see that there are no footprints in the puddle.

[Blood...

She can't hold it back, she screams...

Or at least, tries to, but with her throat like it is, all that comes out is an anguished little cry.]

[She stares, and stares... who was in room 2? Only one way to find out.

She'll gingerly try to step around the blood and reach the door of room 2, to push it open.]

[Sissel carefully hops around the splatter, nose twitching at the, to him, pleasant scent]

Careful Rosa- don't slip.

[No prints... that's weird. While Rosa handle room 2, he sniffs around the rest of the hall]

[She turns and give him a little nod, though she reaches for her notepad and scratches it with her nails to get him to wait.]

[She writes:

"No footprints. The murderer may still be inside the room."]

[He can't read the message but he can smell her worry- understandable with all this gore]

... in the room? I can check as a ghost if you want?

[He's thinking more the body might be leaking out under the door more than the killer still being there, but still]

[She shrugs?? "As a ghost"?? Was the cat dead the whole time? Well, she'll think about it later.

She... gently opens the doorknob, enough to push the door open.]

[ So after some misadventures in the lab, he'll stop here first. Can he detect any traces of magic here? ]

[ Only in the hallway area, towards the bedrooms, will he be able to pick up muddled lightening magic, which is mixed with something unknown. He feel feel it strongest the closer to Room 2 he gets. ]

Well, guess he's going to probably be coming closer to Room 2. Does him walking straight into the room make any difference other than him being able to sense it stronger? And this something unknown isn't similar to anything he's felt before, is it? Summoning magic, time or spacial magic...?

Just an unknown element? ]

[ The ping stops just at the door. There doesn't seem to be any of the magic inside of the room itself.

The magic is so muddled that it's impossible to get a read on. ]

[ Muddled with miasma? Or just muddled as in 'wow this is such a bloody mess it's hard to tell what's going on here'? ]

[ This muddled-ness is insulting him just by being unable for him to figure out because he's a Caster. Rude.

...Also he's done for now but he's going to waste so many hours today and lose sleep over trying to figure it out because he was just like that. ]
