TRIAL

The morning seemed so far away yesterday - yet, it also seems too soon when morning comes and you are all yet again ushered to the third floor by The Lady. The Captain is there, in all of his....glory? It's hard to tell.

The doors close, and he speaks up, this time reclining on one of the couches in the room.

"You know the drill - Since one of you have died during the game, it's your responsibility to try and vote someone out. You have six hours to talk about it, but then-"

He taps on a box on the coffee table in front of him, labeled 'VOTES'.

"-you'll have to put in your vote so someone can be punished. You all saw what happens when you refuse to play, right?"

He leans back, placing his hands behind his head.

"So get to it."

As he says that, music begins to play in the room...

But then Flat's blast takes out Cinque and Akira, and he just. Can't.

[ distractions are useless against a supernatural being like the barghest. he has a goal in mind and, for his God, he's willing to do absolutely everything. another excellent choice like akira would most definitely please Him-- and then atsushi appears, and the barghest immediately turns around, a clawed arm countering against the tiger's. he growls, yellow eyes bright with excitement and glee. ] I will have so much fun in relishing this-- you cannot kill me without killing Flat Escardos! Are you willing to make that sacrifice, the same way you killed the Medic?! If so-- then who are the real monsters here?!

Is that so? [ though he's not getting distracted from his fight with atsushi, the barghest's grin grows as he hears her response ] Do you think that the Town is completely innocent?! Fool!

[Her anger overrides her moral dilemma in this situation. God, if she had a fucking flamethrower--but it's too risky in a place like this, with so many people.]

[Maybe Barghest should have tried that line before he tried to kill the person Atsushi is deathly loyal to in this place. Because he's snapped and isn't really listening to words anymore.

Instead he's yanking on Flat's arm with his one hand while he has his other with claws out, pointed right towards Flat's chest. Basically, trying to pull him right onto death by claws.]

[ and flat will let himself get pulled in, but grabbing atsushi's other arm with his own. this is all in order to grab onto atsushi with a tight grip, and kick him back as far as possible. ] Haha! You see?! The monster is you. You're just like us, Nakajima Atsushi!

Also Atsushi gets kicked to the other side of the room and smacks into a wall.

Give him a moment, he's not as tough as he was before and his head is spinning.]

[ flat laughs, not waiting a moment to grab atsushi by the throat and slam him again against the wall. the smell of blood is enticing, and he even reaches to lick some that he smells from the tiger boy's neck. ]

So you'll kill Flat Escardos-- then what? It won't kill me. I'll still be here! None of you can stop me or any of the others.

[Atsushi would like to fight back, to rip Flat to pieces, but he...stops?

And actually, he seems to be gasping and clawing desperately at his neck (with human fingers, actually, as he seems to be changing back to human). Mostly because Flat is putting pressure on a collar that is around his neck, normally hidden by his clothes.

And blood is dripping out of the bottom of said collar, from wherever Flat's hand is putting pressure.]

... It might be a good idea to throw as many things as we can at him, as long as we can do it without hurting the others. What Troit-san said about possession means we need to know as much as possible about the Barghest before we deal with it.
