RECORDING 8: THE THIRD MURDER.

A third week, and this is beginning to become routine. Waking on friday, with the knowledge deep down that your number has yet again decreased.

But you must still pull yourself from your bed, and discover who is now forever gone...

As you all rise and look towards a new day, the Miasma laps at your heels...

...And around whatever corpse now lingers in the hallways...

[They did receive a warning about the hallways, even if this... probably isn't what Mr. T had in mind.

[Unfortunately, upon stepping near the room, the unmistakable stench of blood can be smelled.

...As well as a smell of musty fur under all of that. Do you dare enter?]

[Well.

It's kind of hard not to see the two bodies lying in the hallway, as well as what looks like damage to the walls to the ceiling., and the smell of blood.]

[ Great, it appeared that they were likely about to discover a body. ]

Hmph. As expected, some fool ended up going along with that creature's incentive...

[ He'll make a displeased expression at the smell. But he'll proceed to uh move so that he's in the doorway so he could take a look from out here into the room just to make sure there was no additional funny business. Or they don't walk into a pool of blood, because dirtying his shoes would be so unfortunate? ]

[Her eyes narrow and she quickly but carefully makes her way towards the bodies, watching where she steps so she doesn't accidentally disturb anything.]

[Nanaka will approach as well. That sure was a lot of damage... Possibly a fight? If so, then we might be looking at one of the worst-case scenarios...]

She doesn't want to do this again. She doesn't want to do this again.

But... looking away won't change what's happened. She takes a shaky breath and peeks around Gilgamesh, hands knotted in a white-knuckled grip.]

[Thankfully, no! But man, is it ever a mess in here. Bookshelves and furniture is strewn all about, books scattered haphazardly. There's some clear damage that the books and parts of the wall and floor took, though they'd have to get up close to see what.

Finally, There's blood splatter leading out towards the trophy room.]

[ Welp. ]

... Looks like we've got out work cut out for us. How about we split up? I'll take the bookshelves, you take the furniture. [ He heads over to the books!! What kind of damage are we talking about here? ]

[The room is, frankly speaking, a mess - There's damage around the inside of the doorway, along with a shredded mess of taxidermied animals. Whatever took place in here, it was violent.

As they stand in the doorway, they'll notice a blood spatter that ends in the trophy room that seems to be coming from down the hall.

...But...that might all be noticed later, because first...

Among all the heads on the side wall - skewed or knocked down- one immediately draws attention. The reason for this...is extremely simple.

There's someone lying on the ground below it, face up.]

[He kneels and examines the furniture. Do the furniture look damaged as well as scattered?, also Is here blood on them?]

That sure wasn't a pretty sight. He'll keep in mind the blood splatter as well. ]

[ Gilgamesh will step into the room, making to keep vigilant and steps light as he headed closer so he could properly identify this someone. Who was it? And do they appear to be still breathing? ]

[If need be, she can run for the first aid kit...

[Marona will see Seteth, lying facedown, with his spear on one side next to him. His shield is a little bit away from him on the other side.

Meanwhile, it looks like the other body is a bit further down the fall from Seteth, but from this distance, there's no mistaking the blood puddle...

Nanaka, on the other hand, will see clear dents in the walls and floor, as if something heavy was being thrown about - and bits of what look oddly like rubble strewn all over.]

She dips her head in a moment of acknowledgement before moving to the next body, carefully avoiding stepping on any blood or otherwise evidence.]

[...Let's try to figure out what happened here and hope Flayn is not in fact the other body.

Let's check out this rubble first. Any hints on where it might have come from?]

[Unfortunately, as Gilgamesh gets closer, there's no mistaking that the person lying on the ground is dead. After all, with such a gaping hole in her chest, how could she not be? With her lying there, so still, with her eyes closed, if one ignored the massive wound and blood puddle, one could almost think she was sleeping...

But, she isn't.
