RECORDING 7: THE THIRD WEEK.

A third week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. The final week completely covered by everyone's rations, though with proper meting out, you'll be able to make it stretch until after week 4. It seems as if everyone will have to go without a few meals here and there..
To make things worse, when you wake up - it's clear the Miasma has gotten thicker. Everyone, save those still protected either by their powers or items they brought with them, is now even more deeply affected by the curse. Arguments will be flaring up more, along with negative thoughts and feelings...and even more worrying Is that any magic that touches the house itself will corrode over time. If a barrier is put in place and touches the floor, walls, or ceiling, in half a day it will be completely consumed by the miasma and fizzle out. Spells or seals will also corrode, and even personal healing abilities have been halved.
The Temperature has dropped, just a bit - down to the mid to low 60's. Strange, isn't it? As before, the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.
25 of your number still remain.
...What new horrors await you this week?
ii persimmons!! persimmons!!!
So he's shuffling in with a rather unappetizing-looking block of meal-adjacent stuff (still better than whatever Flayn and sundry are cooking up in the kitchen, god why the pantry, why) when he spots Gin and the goods. There's a tilt of his head.]
... Oh. Now that's something I haven't seen much of lately. What a luxurious thing to bring on a mission.
[It's not disapproving, actually. In fact, he seems bemused to see the things, not in a bad way.]

Gin's smile inches wider, and he waves the persimmon in it at one of the empty chairs.]
Trips of undefined length are exactly the times that someone should think about bringing treats the most.

There's a blink at being waved over with a persimmon, but he's not really opposed to sharing meals, and they're roommates anyway. Come to think of it, he worked with this guy recently, too -- and somehow they're well on their way to more cooperation in the future. It's a good thing to get along with your bunkmates.]
Well, you're not wrong. [he's obligingly parking himself in a chair with his foodstuff] Trips of undefined length with rations of defined length are the worst of all. Don't spread it around, but I'm still saving stuff, too.
[He says that, but they are literally storing their stuff in the same place......]

Your secret is safe with me. [The "for now" probably in there somewhere could be enacted anywhere from a week to several in the future, assuming Subete dies and his stash becomes forfeit.] I won't mention it, if you keep your own mouth shut.
[Not only is Room 1 currently still full, but also apparently has the people who thought to bring extra food with them. Truly the smart room.]
From what I've seen of the Foundation and other organizations, coming prepared with your own back up plan is always wisest.
