nobody's in the mood for recording 6.9: the post-trial garden tea "party"

The flowers that bloomed at the end of the trial are ones that only seem to prove, continuously, that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Of course, it's only natural that many of the people are full of mixed emotions - grief? sadness? anger? frustration? maybe something else completely different?

But it's there, along with the end of the week.

Miasma still continues to be around, of course - but make use of the fact that this might be the last time it'll be at a low level one before it shoots up again.


Well.

Life continues as usual, disregarding any feelings that any of the house's occupants might be feeling.

So what are you doing these next two days?

And I only had a sip here. It wasn't like it was a full on drinking party, since we didn't have enough booze or anything like that.

Is that all you plan to have tonight, a sip?

There's only so much of this, you know. I can't get myself wasted and then have no more booze.

True. But you were also willing to share. [ This is probably his weird way of saying he appreciates it. ]

Maybe I'm just doing it out of the kindness of my heart.

I guess I shouldn't argue with that. [ He takes another hearty sip, almost at the bottom of his glass. ]

Just like you shouldn't argue with what makes you look cute.

What does that have to do with this?!

Nothing, really. But I said I would remind you, right? [ Okay that's not exactly what he said but similar thought train here. When the tendency to logic and otome collide, you get something like this. Also the concussion(?) and alcohol might be a factor. ]

[ He makes to stand but pauses. Okay fine, he'll bite. ]

I learned my lesson, at least for tonight. [ So yeah he'll save her and stand for real now, pausing as he pushes his chair in. ]

What's that saying though, the truth isn't necessarily a bad thing?

[she trails off a little awkwardly, not wanting to recount the last two trials. or much else, really]

Lies are sweeter, but not in this instance. [ No need to bring up talks of the past few hours or weeks or any of that. All that said, he's heading back to room 2 before marona comes to drag him back if she has any last words.

Or maybe just a reminder that he was exceptionally forward tonight even for himself, but whiskey and a concussion is one hell of a drug. ]
