nobody's in the mood for recording 6.9: the post-trial garden tea "party"

- The flowers that bloomed at the end of the trial are ones that only seem to prove, continuously, that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Of course, it's only natural that many of the people are full of mixed emotions - grief? sadness? anger? frustration? maybe something else completely different?
But it's there, along with the end of the week.
Miasma still continues to be around, of course - but make use of the fact that this might be the last time it'll be at a low level one before it shoots up again.
Well.
Life continues as usual, disregarding any feelings that any of the house's occupants might be feeling.
So what are you doing these next two days?

Emil glances at the water crabs, which don't seem to be attacking them. Oh, at least those seem to be on their side. One worry less!]
I doubt it! Unless I miss and hit a wall -- then that's going to hurt!
[It all depends on Emil's aim -- which is fairly good, he has that on his side. Still...good aim means a little less when what he aims for can move around]
I better not miss!
[Still on the floor, Emil scoots back until he's against a wall, and aims at the knife the crab is holding. If he can disarm it, then maybe it'd be slightly less dangerous? Maybe?
Clenching his teeth, Emil fires the rifle]

Then it walks off sideways through the door and into the hallway.
CARCINOPUNK has... fled the battle??? bye crab]

[It could be sympathetic, at a glance, and probably it doesn't matter when they're in the middle of a pitched battle against a sea-soned(??) warrior(????) of the deeps. The knife goes spinning, though it doesn't come close to the amazing spectacles of flying crableticism they've been witness to; one of the small water crabs scoots over and--
Now there are two water crabs holding the knife up like a prize and waving their tiny pincers stupidly. They're not actually doing anything with it, so Emil is free to collect his loot or whatever.
Carcinopunk makes its getaway! Subete is... clapping? That old clap he seems to do, once, twice, not quite a golf clap but not quite applause either.]
Good shot, though. I was hoping there would be more damage, but at least it's gone from the armory. Think shutting the door would keep it out?
no subject
Not if a ghost gets it through a wall. I bet they can do that.
[But hey, no harm in closing the door]

He's just going to let his barrier drop and then lounge on the nearest surface, probably by the cameras that he was over here to check out in the first place before the crabpocalypse happened.]
Haha. But they'd have to be solid like just now to mess with us, so I'm not too worried yet. [a small wave means his water crabs collapse into little tiny puddles too, sploosh, and now there's just a knife on the floor] What an interesting first encounter. Pity their master isn't as to the point.
[That better not be a knife pun...?]

[Why crabs? What is the relation between crabs and Sho? Will the ghost take revenge for shooting at his crab?
Well...! Bring it on, Sho? Or hopefully not? Emil sure wants to be as far as possible from all the ghosts]

[There's a laugh in his voice that says he's caught exactly what Emil meant, but he isn't bothering to call him out on it right now. Mercy for the crab wrangler, maybe? He's going to pick up that knife, also, before another crab gets ahold of it.
LOOT: +1 KNIFE acquired! ♫ ♪ ♬]
Was there a reason you were dropping by the armory, or did you enjoy the new decor?
[Y'know. Since this is a mathroom now. Did Sho graffiti the weaponry and electronics too... hopefully not.]
no subject
I'll get rid of it.
[How does this conversation fit in the timeline that led to the cleansing team, who knows. Time is fake in roleplaying]
no subject
It's truly an infestation. He doesn't look intrigued, precisely, but he does look engaged.]
Hmm. And how are you planning on pulling that off? Everything in there is a biohazard.
You're just as likely to poison those left.
[Judging by his light tone, he's aware that he's just being mildly contrary here, but so what.]
no subject
[While he was walking towards the boxes to search in them for stuff to block the vents, he steps on what's left of the water that formed the crabs. He stops]
...this will work better than what I already had in mind. I'm going to seal the greenhouse, burn down the plants, and use water to stop any poison from spreading. But you, you can make water! Come on, help me. With an ability like yours it's guaranteed to work.
no subject
Sort of.]
Ah, what are you, some sort of firefighter? I wasn't aware there was a profession quite like this.
[Well, usually probably greenhouses aren't quite like this either. So this is their possible biohazard waste team so far............ a dude with froofy hair and a dude with froofy clothes. Wonderful. There's the smallest quirk of a brow at the leap in logic. It works, doesn't it?]
'Use water'. [an amused murmur] You don't know the scale, or the versatility, or the duration of my ability. There's really no need to be in such a hurry.
no subject
[Not precisely a firefighter and he knows it, but hey, a small flamethrower is one of the essential tools cleansers have!
Which he doesn't have now because you don't want to use a flamethrower in such a closed space]
Oh, I'm sure you have the right scale and versatility! If water's used, it can trap the toxins from the smoke. I'm planning to ask Haku a favor and convince him to freeze the water so the poison can be discarded, but first I was going to prepare everything I needed!
[That...said absolutely nothing about how much water should be used, or about how. Emil realizes that after a moment]
It's by having as water droplets as possible near the ceiling of the greenhouse.
