nobody's in the mood for recording 6.9: the post-trial garden tea "party"

- The flowers that bloomed at the end of the trial are ones that only seem to prove, continuously, that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Of course, it's only natural that many of the people are full of mixed emotions - grief? sadness? anger? frustration? maybe something else completely different?
But it's there, along with the end of the week.
Miasma still continues to be around, of course - but make use of the fact that this might be the last time it'll be at a low level one before it shoots up again.
Well.
Life continues as usual, disregarding any feelings that any of the house's occupants might be feeling.
So what are you doing these next two days?

[Which is...not a good idea. Although Emil sounds still kind of indignant about that, he definitely sympathizes. He didn't want to vote for Yuri. But...pushing someone else to their doom sounds like it'd have been worse. Yuri did nothing wrong! But so did nobody else.
He just wishes he could get upset at what really is to blame: the miasma. But since he can't, all he can do is get angry at those who propose things he doesn't like, even though they don't deserve getting yelled at. Emil just can't bottle things, he's not good at that]

[Emil's expression trembles, before he sighs, softening right away. He just can't stay mad for long about that -- especially when he later goes to apologize to Ango. Most of the time it's the miasma amplifying his negative emotions, anyway]
Like someone else should be the one to pay, instead of her. That's what would have happened -- either we did for not voting, or some other innocent person got voted and executed.

[This was not a time for a tirade... it proved everything she feared but this wasn't the time for a tirade. She took all the rage, emotions, and anger she was feeling and shoved it deep inside her heart.]
I... see. [...] That does not sound like... a solid course of action.
[Even then, her voice was shaking and her hands were balled into tight fists.]

Unfortunately, Emil wasn't like that. It's even dubious he'll realize it in hindsight.
He does see the shaking and the clenched fists, though]
But it was shot down right away! Nobody wanted to do that at all. As long as we all refuse to do such things, we'll be fine. Relatively speaking.
[He interpreted that as anger at such a suggestion being said in the first place, unaware of the intensity and depth of Rosa's fury. Oh if he knew how worse than that it all was]

[She's still avoiding eye-contact, face practically turned to look at the wall.]
But... yes. The situation can't be allowed to spiral out of control. I'm glad you realized that, Emil. Thank you for that. Really. I'm truly, truly, really, and greatly, deeply, thankful...
[...]
Did it all end there?

It did. Thankfully, it all ended there. I don't think a suggestion like that one is going to pop up ever again.
[...he hopes. Because otherwise, there's going to be a lot of infighting again]

[This was not the tone of voice of someone who wished they could be more optimistic.]
But, like I said... keep your head. Our first priority is to get out of here. Not 'punish' anyone.
