The flowers that bloomed at the end of the trial are ones that only seem to prove, continuously, that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Of course, it's only natural that many of the people are full of mixed emotions - grief? sadness? anger? frustration? maybe something else completely different?

But it's there, along with the end of the week.

Miasma still continues to be around, of course - but make use of the fact that this might be the last time it'll be at a low level one before it shoots up again.

Life continues as usual, disregarding any feelings that any of the house's occupants might be feeling.

[ Giovanni takes a second to look up from his own needles, greeting Haku with a wave that's almost cheerful, under the circumstances. ]

Yeah, I wanna try and get these done today, you know? After everything that happened the past couple days... Well, if anyone else is gonna turn into a killer ghost, I want them to get their bandanna first.

[Even if it is kinda "oh" that Gio seems to have resigned himself to more people becoming ghosties.]

[That's... actually kinda touching, Gio. The smile on Haku's face brightens as he takes a seat next to him.]

You don't have to do that. But if you really want to know. my favorite color is pink. It's a cheerful color.

Pink? No way, really? Me too! I mean, after hot rod flames, of course. But it's hard to get yarn in that color.

[ The dude with pink hair, pink eyes, and pink nail polish is a fan of pink. Shocking. ]

Huh. Who is it? Anyone I know? And is there any kind of rule that says you can't have two bosses?

My boss is one of the strongest ninja of Kirigakure. Taught me everything I know.

I don't know if there's a rule like that. But it would make things very complicated if the two of you wanted opposite things.

Uh. Normally minionly activities are, like, helping me steal stuff, but there ain't too much to steal around this place. Plus, where would we put it? So your minion duties are... to come up with some good minion duties! And to take care of yourself. Can't have one of my boys getting hurt on my watch. That's just bad management.
