The flowers that bloomed at the end of the trial are ones that only seem to prove, continuously, that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Of course, it's only natural that many of the people are full of mixed emotions - grief? sadness? anger? frustration? maybe something else completely different?

But it's there, along with the end of the week.

Miasma still continues to be around, of course - but make use of the fact that this might be the last time it'll be at a low level one before it shoots up again.


Well.

Life continues as usual, disregarding any feelings that any of the house's occupants might be feeling.

So what are you doing these next two days?

[ Giovanni hadn't been planning to visit the greenhouse in particular, or go anywhere near it ever again, but the sound of Ky's prayer had caught his ear in the hallway. He loiters by the doorway until it's finished, then speaks up. ]

What was that? It sounded... kinda pretty.

[zweivoltage]

Mr... Captain Potage?

[His voice raised in a questioning tone, unsure which is the preferred address as he steps back]

Oh - that was a prayer for the recently departed, In my faith, sorry, I'm not sure how best to explain it, when someone is dying or dies, we pray for the safekeeping of their souls to find their way to the Lord's side.

[Then he glances away]

I know for now, the house seems to be trapping them, but if even this little prayer could reduce their torment for even a little bit....

[ Giovanni would be beaming with gratification, except for the fact that they all just saw someone die and he's really not in a beaming mood. He manages a weak smile towards Ky nonetheless. ]

That's... that's a really nice idea. We don't really have that in my world. People kind of just... die. 'Course, we don't have ghosts in my world either. I used to wish we did, but...

We're the same rank so it's hard not to remember, even if we're in different organizations.

These ghosts shattered the idea of friendly spirits. Even if we can't reach them through the curse, they would still see.

[ look any organization that's not villainous kind of tends to slide out of his mind, okay? ]

Well, I hope that means they heard the stuff you were saying. 'Cause... it would be nice, if they found somewhere safe to go, after this was all over.
