nobody's in the mood for recording 6.9: the post-trial garden tea "party"

- The flowers that bloomed at the end of the trial are ones that only seem to prove, continuously, that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Of course, it's only natural that many of the people are full of mixed emotions - grief? sadness? anger? frustration? maybe something else completely different?
But it's there, along with the end of the week.
Miasma still continues to be around, of course - but make use of the fact that this might be the last time it'll be at a low level one before it shoots up again.
Well.
Life continues as usual, disregarding any feelings that any of the house's occupants might be feeling.
So what are you doing these next two days?

... I keep thinking if I'd just stayed quiet--but then... Rosa-san would have brought up the holy water...
[so either way, they probably would have figured it out.]

[She shifts, melding against him. Her voice is a miserable murmur.]
E-Even if you hadn't said anything, she—Da-Dazai-kun, she wanted to get found out. Little things, things she... didn't say, th-things she hesitated over... they... would've piled up. We had... we had four s-suspects, and she didn't even... even t-try to disguise the evidence.

[and he's going to tilt his head so he can just kind of lay it on hers because energy is lacking so bad right now.]
... she said I was a good detective.
[it was like the most distressing thing she could say at the time but also]
no subject
...you wouldn't have believed her if she said you were a good man.
[She's quiet for a moment.]
She... begged me to be careful. She said I can... I can d-do this. Sh-She said she believes in me no matter what.
no subject
... hold onto that.
The ghost will say a lot of things that'll hurt, might even sound like her, but...
[pretty sure miasma-ghost is not safe]
no subject
[She sucks in a breath, quick and sharp.]
I-I think that's why she s-said those things. E-even though it hurts right now... she... she wanted us to have her true feelings to h-hold onto.
no subject
[taking the cigarette out of his mouth to move to scrape the burning bits off. gotta conserve these.]
no subject
...Dazai-kun... would it help you more if I was gentle or if I was rough, right now?
no subject
Maybe a bit of the second. Then the first.
no subject
[She shifts, half climbing onto his lap so that she's straddling his legs, arms resting on his shoulders.]
Tell me... tell me when to switch, o-okay?
[But for right now, she dips in and sinks her teeth into his lower lip, pressing him back against the wall.]
no subject
so in fact, looking a bit surprised as he lifts his hands to her waist as she straddles him. there's clear tension in him still, but the bite seems to do its work of distracting him from it.]
no subject
Her fingers work into his hair, and her nails dig into his scalp.]
no subject
it's like each action pulls out some of the tension and he's letting his brain disengage from the knots its been tying itself into. he does pull back a bit to give a small, but not unappreciative hiss at the nails, a faint laugh coming up.]
Bold, Yacchan...
no subject
[She tugs at his hair and after a beat of consideration, presses a small nip to his jawline.]
no subject
Ah... probably. [distractions are really effective, ngl] But... what about Yacchan...?
no subject
I... want to take care of s-somebody else right now. Is... is that okay?
no subject
[not that this is exactly "doting" but like. for him, it kind of is. but he's making his point by letting a hand go up her back, like one would do when comforting a person. kinda.]
no subject
[She hesitates again, just a beat, doing that quick judgement one more time before biting down on the side of his bandage-covered neck, as firmly as she dares.]
no subject
Makes sense.
no subject
...
No, it isn't at all, really. But she tells herself that anyways, because otherwise she'll explode in a flustered mess or worse; have to actually think about why he needs this.
About... what happened.]
R-Remember to l-let me know when you need to switch.
no subject
Anymore and I'll forget how to be gentle.
[his voice is a bit airy when he says it, but he reaches up a hand to cup her face to redirect her back toward his face.]
no subject
[She lets him guide her, then shifts on her own. As promised, she gently, gently presses a kiss to his forehead. To the bridge of his nose. To his cheek.
To his mouth, chaste and brief.]
Can I hug you again?
no subject
[time to pull a Yachi in close for a hug.]
Whenever's fine.
no subject
...Hey, Dazai-kun?
no subject
he tilts his head into her touch]
Yeah?
