RECORDING 4: THE SECOND WEEK

A second week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. With first blood - and oil - spilled, it now seems as if it'll only be a matter of time before the worse eventually happens once more. Thankfully, it seems as if the Miasma is content to remain at the same levels it did before, so arguments are unlikely to break out, though tensions are surely high after everything that's already occurred.

Speaking of which, the temperature remains a consistent comfortable early to mid 70's in the house. It appears at least that you'll be here in comfort..? Though it appears that the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.

Yet, something feels...wrong. The house feels as if it is laughing at you, when you awake...

...What new horrors await you this week?

[he shifts back out of the wall, and crouches so he's closer to eye level with the cat]

[His fur is still stiff, but he crouches down, eyeing Sho cautiously.

...but him mentioning what Sissel threatened before is- could it really be him? Or are the spirits using his and Olympia's faces to mock them? Unlike the humans, scent is how he recognizes those that are His- and here all he smells is miasma.

It's awful. He hates this]

I doubt you'd taste good either.

Yeah. Probably tasting pretty purple.

[he reaches out to pet Sissel in apology... but then thinks better of it and stuffs his hands in his pockets]

... Sigil didn't factoring work. Haha. So much for that master plan. I went to see if I could find out where I went wrong but... tch... probably one of the radicals. Maybe it only works in Shibuya's coordinates? Hectograms, maybe I needed to change something because it was on wood and not concrete....]

[And even though he KNOWS better he almost arches into the aborted touch.]

I saw it fail.

What did it look like?

It felt like it was trying to do something but just... sputtered out like a blown-out fire. The skull is all blacked out now.

Fuuuu....aaaactor. [he huffs and hangs his head] I blew it.

[he punches himself in the head a few times before shaking it and pulling his hat over his eyes]

It IS zetta high level Angelic stuff... Still... Dammit... I thought I had it for sure...

.... [sigh] As much as I hate to admit it, that was the only entry in the "Plan" set.

[He stands up, not hissing or fluffing, but stern and forceful]

No. We're going to stop this and set the spirits caught here free.

[Sho looks... visibly conflicted, and the miasma swirls around him. They want him to laugh in the cat's face. To slam him with a blast of the curse. To drag his bright soul down into the abyss.

No! I'm not doing it because you want me to!!

So instead he literally sinks into the floor and vanishes for now]

[He pounces the spot, but Sho is long gone. So instead he crouches there]

Just hold on for now... I won't let this sad fate stand.

[He had done the impossible before- he would do it again... somehow.]
