Opinions without 3.1415 are just Onions (Week1 post trial)

After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Life goes on, regardless.

[His expression softens at that. The smell of charring meat is distinctive to say the least, though not one Haku is unaccustomed to. This wouldn't be the first body he's disposed of, nor was it likely to be the last if the core's predictions about their futures was to be believed.]

I'm sorry for your bad memories. Seems like this place is determined to give all of us a few more of them.

[Which isn'tmeant to be dismissive, just an acknowledgement of fact.]

How's your injury from the trial?
boardreversal: (Hehehe....)

could've sworn I sent this

It's fine...I'll just deal with them when they come up.

[Even as he tries not to remember all the deaths and murders of his family that accompanies that kind of smell...]

Ah - it's fine! You can't even see where the wound is....Morrison-san's future technology sure is amazing, huh?

[It's interesting. Battler has such... visceral reactions to things. It's probably a mercy that he is unaffected by the miasma.]

It's all any of us can do. But I would still prefer not to cause others pain if I can avoid such a thing.

[But he does smile, hearing that there aren't any lingering injuries. At least physically speaking.]

Morrison-san's world is incomprehensible to me. They have moon colonies where humans and apes apparently coexist... for science. [Future, why are you like this.] ... but I am relieved to hear you're doing well.
