After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Life goes on, regardless.

He tried to blackmail me on our very first day in this house. I haven't trusted him from the beginning.

I saw him change into... I suppose you might call it a ghost form? He realized I could still see him, even though I was trying to pretend I couldn't. He told me he would tell everyone else unless I did what he said.

[But she ended up spilling the beans herself only a few days in, so...]

What a worthless idiot, but he already proved that to us today didn't he? If some of our number need to be sacrificed for this mission, then I hope they'll all be as inutile as he was. [ Tch. He crinkles up the wrapper and lays it on the table with a huff. ]

There's no point in fighting among ourselves when we have the mission and the miasma to contend with. And if anyone fails to realize that then they deserve to be called out.

That is my preference as well. [If they lose people they might as well have deserved it.] Stirring up trouble right now could be the end of all of us. We can't afford it.

I don't know about next, but... I'm not sure how long Ms. Rosa or Mr. Giovanni will last.

Giovanni seems like the obvious choice given his...eccentric personality, but that might help him in the end too. But Rosa...she hasn't seem to have taken this well from the start.

When we first met she was concerned withing a source of "water", liquor, I mean.

Mr. Giovanni seems to be making a lot of friends. It might help protect him.

Ms. Rosa... She seems on edge all the time. [Dangerously so, in a place like this.] Was she trying to find a way to calm herself down?

I think he would say minions, but yeah you're right. As ridiculous as it is, if it helps keep his morale up and it's not harming any one, then it's not the worst coping method.

[ Leaving out the part where Hikage himself is in that number but it's fine bc he doesn't do friends anyway. ]

Better than Rosa's, anyway. She did say it was just to relax, but given her behavior so far... it is concerning.

This is not the time to let your guard down. It might help her relax, but it could be the death of her, too.

At least for now, it's not something we can deal with. I would be surprised if this an entirely dry house though, and the longer we stay trapped here the more fatigue will build.

Maybe the lack of alcohol is also an attempt to make us despair.

Which is far from efficient. [ He'll never stop being logical even when it comes to a miasma house. Which unfortunately includes eating his MRE's which he picked on rather than eat properly, but he's almost done at least. ]
