After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Life goes on, regardless.

[ If there's anything that can distract Giovanni from how crappy he's feeling right now, it's a stirring tribute to boss-minion solidarity. ]

[He's tempted to just flat out refuse, but even he can read the mood here--taking away this moment from Giovanni would most likely just get him to sink back into depression, so he'll hold off this time. Not that it makes the question that much easier to answer.]

[Although as he is, he's without his coat for the first time because it's soaking in a washtub right now, so it's apparent he's wearing mainly purple and black right now.]

[ Asking Giovanni to calm down? You're fighting a losing battle there, buddy. He does fall silent for a moment as he contemplates Date's question, though. ]

I guess like half an hour? I mean, it's kinda just a square. Putting the letters in does bump up the time a little, though. You wanna watch?

[He tried and therefore no one can criticize him!! But huh, that's actually faster than he thought.]

...Well, it's not like I have anything else to do. [He'll pull out a chair from the table and take a seat, crossing his arms as he settles in his spot.]

What made you take up knitting, anyway?

Honestly, it just started as something to do to to kill time. There's actually a lot of downtime in crime, you know,? Like when you're casing places to rob, or when you're waiting for the rest of your minions to show up because someone got the rendezvous time wrong again, Ben. But then it actually turned out to be pretty fun? And, heh, I ended up ruling at it, obviously.

[ He flips his current bandanna-in-progress over and starts on another row. ]

What about you? Got any hobbies other than policeman-ing?

[A rather ordinary story, despite all the hubbub about being an evil villain. But considering literally everything else about Giovanni, the knitting thing probably suits him more than the villain part.

He blinks when the question is turned on him though.]

Me? [...] Well, I collect some things, like vintage magazines and other stuff. But things had gotten busy lately, so I hadn't really been thinking of any of it until you just brought it up.

Back home, yeah. Although they haven't exactly let me get a hold of many since I arrived here either.

Well, yeah, I guess they wouldn't. What's been keeping you so busy at home, though? Locking up innocent criminals?

They're not innocent if they're criminals. [The flattest stare gets sent in Gio's direction before he lets it up.]

But yeah, something like that. I was working on a case before I got here, and I also had my roommate to take care of.

Ooh, tell me about the case! Give me the juicy crime details! Not to brag, but it's entirely possible my brilliant criminal mind will provide some insights. I'll only charge you half my usual consulting rate.

At Giovanni's enthusiasm though, another flat stare gets sent his way, although there's something a little more tired in his eyes.]
