After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Life goes on, regardless.

I'm from a place that's kind of similar to this world... although the organization I was part of--Chaldea--was trying to prevent Humanity from being destroyed.

I guess that's why I was surprised when I heard that something like that happened in your world. My bad if it was a little weird.

It was a plague. Because of it some people and animals started mutating and turned into all sorts of trolls. I'm sure nobody could have done anything about that.

Aah... that really does sound like a lot. Mutations and diseases happen a lot, but now that it's happened in your world...I suppose the best thing to do is to reclaim the lands without becoming infected again, right?

You must have a lot of stories then. That sounds interesting, even if it's probably dangerous.

Not really, unless you count my training. I was on my first mission with a crew when the Foundation got me. They didn't even wait for it to finish -- I guess the word of my competence spread into other worlds somehow.

I think that thing was made to give the Foundation the best agents they can get. We all had all sorts of useful skills even before our training with the Foundation.

I mean you could definitely look at it that way. As long as we stick together, I think our combined skills will definitely help us.
