Opinions without 3.1415 are just Onions (Week1 post trial)

After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Life goes on, regardless.

[Gin spends an extra moment wiping his sword down, and only acknowledges Subete from beyond Shinsou when he lifts the sword to see the light flash off of it.]

You're right that we share a couple similarities, but the "swordsman part" is mine alone, I'd say.

[An understatement, truly. The idea of Sho being a true shinigami rubs Gin the wrong way, though the only visible tell is the most mild tightening of his smile.]

[He's quite patient, and he gets to see the sword shown off, so it's probably a win-win either way. Not like they have anywhere better to be at the moment, with the living room and showers off limits or overcrowded, and the rest of the place just about the same level of miasma murky as always.

In fact, maybe it's even worse now, with all these folks spewing negativity all over the place. Miasma mission accomplished.]

Haha. It would probably be pretty unique even if it weren't. I haven't seen a sword wielded that way just yet.

[A tilt of the head as he catches the momentarily tension. Interesting. But then, Gin did just get compared to the guy he mercilessly disarmed a few hours ago.]

Shinsou, was it?

[Gin shifts the sword again, this time bringing it around to sheathe it. He sets the sword and sheath on the table, but doesn't let go of it.]

Yes, this is Shinsou. [A mild shrug-- probably modest, on almost any other person] If your blade is sharp enough, limbs are a trifle to deal with.

[If you wanted confirmation about the lengthening, you're going to have to work harder for it.]
