After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Life goes on, regardless.

I do not believe there is any need to apologize. Your intention was to catch the killer, was it not? That means that it is important to suspect everyone. In addition, there was not any particular reason why I could not have done it, beyond a misunderstanding of my abilities. The primary reasons I could not have done it mostly stem from things that are difficult to prove, after all.

It's really unfortunate that my ability doesn't work for others against the miasma... I wouldn't mind helping with that if I could.

Still, it is an excellent offensive ability in this case. You have already proven more capable of damaging them than the rest of us, after all.

Personally speaking, I believe that if anything can change this situation, it is likely going to be you and Battler. Just tell us ahead of time when you are planning something so we can help make a path and take care of the defense.

It is still early, after all, and while we have an enemy, they seem to be content to keep themselves hidden for the time being. Still, if you intend on attacking them again, a hand-signal or equivalent would be nice. At the very least, I should be able to help keep you safe from any more projectiles.
