Opinions without 3.1415 are just Onions (Week1 post trial)
After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.
Life goes on, regardless.

[ the living room not smelling like rotting blood and gore is definitely going to be better for them, after all.
he takes an extra mop, soaking it with a mix of bleach and water, and begins to go at it. ]

It's a pity all this is happening here, this house is incredible.

[ he continues mopping the floors, trying to scrub off some of the dried blood. ]
It makes me wonder what made this place become an SCP in the first place-- it doesn't seem like that had always been the case, after all.

Demons can enter on their own anywhere the barrier between Gehenna and Assiah-- or Gehenna and this world-- is thin. Something like this... a demon might have originally gotten through and set this area up as a hunting ground, where ghosts formed from the victims and then merged with the original master of the area to form a more powerful demon.
So we might be dealing with two separate entities, one hunter that traps to kill, and the miasma created by the merged ghosts of the victims. There's also whatever influence is involved in manipulating the miasma ghosts. That might be coming from inside, the residual memories and personality of someone trapped earlier asserting control over the group...

And in turn, the miasma created by those forgotten will act against other humans as well, trying to lure them into the house.
[ he stops cleaning for a moment in order to look ahead and consider that scenario. after a short silence, he sighs, and resumes cleaning. ]
Well, that's basically just a guess right now. I'd wonder if it's possible to ask one of those other Vessels, but if Todd wasn't so willing to talk, then I feel that whatever comes next won't either.
