After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Life goes on, regardless.

[At least they're both clean, even if there's nothing they can do about regular showering until the unfortunate horde manages to sort itself and the gore out; Subete wanders in yawning, and it's probably the first time he's bothered to enter the kitchen or any of the other dining places today.

What a day, though. His posture is still relaxed and loose as he shuffles over to check out the tea offerings -- there's a faint frown at the leaves themselves, but he doesn't say anything.]

After a day like today, I wouldn't mind some rain. [ Magical rain inside the mansion is implied but he would take even rain beating against the windows which would theoretically help with the ventilation somewhat but who knows how HVAC works in a miasma infested mansion. ]

I could make it more fragrant if that's your biggest concern. [ A barely noticeable playful lilt punctuates the offer. ]

Haha. I doubt there's a way to affect that little stranglehold they have going on outdoors from here, and if you want to add moisture to a place like this, you'd better be prepared for mold.

[Noncommittal, but it's not like he's denying it, either -- the possibility of indoors rain, that is. That falls under the purview of things he's willing to make concessions on, even if what concessions and when is a matter up for debate at this point. There are plenty of people on cleaning duty already.

Up to you, but I'd say you're too late already. [ Because even as he replies Hikage is already moving to reach into the cabinets, taking appraise of it's offering and then plucking two small jars down. Plop go two newfound additions to the teapot, followed by the hot water which was near boiling from the time Subete entered (the teaball also having been prepared of course).]

So, are you going to ask and be patient or wait.... two minutes and twenty five seconds? [ While the leaves steep for just the right amount of time. ]
