Opinions without 3.1415 are just Onions (Week1 post trial)
After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.
Life goes on, regardless.

[ good god, mages are so messed up? not that he doesn't know this, but it's always surprising to see it in person. ]
Here. I'll help you out then.
[ he'll pull a chair to sit in front of her. ]

[immediate, and as if it's a complete denial because even though it's painful, it's somehing she's accepted. she's the last member of the Tohsaka family, it's only fair.]
...thank you.

[ well, there's no pushing the subject any further either. it's not the life that he would like her to have, but he supposes that it's the one that she feels she needs to live.
he'll take the syringe from her, and...take off his ponytail? he has a reason for this, i promise. ]
A good way to not miss a vein is to put pressure above your elbow. [ he passes the ponytail up her arm, which should squeeze the arm enough to at least see the veins with more ease. ] Usually I'd do this with a rubber strap, but eh, you learn to improvise. Especially in a place like this.
[ he feels around for the vein, and when he finds it, he'll inject the medicine in the syringe. it takes a moment, but once that's done, he takes off the ponytail from the arm and raises her forearm close to her. ]
There. Keeping it high should help lessen the bleeding and you should be good to go.

Thank you.
...Hey, doctor. I'm curious. Why did you decide to take on this sort of profession, anyway?

[ roman gives himself the time to think as he pulls his hair back up into a quick and messy ponytail.
why he wanted to become a doctor...what a loaded question. ]
Haha...well... I'm not really sure, actually. You see, Rin, I'm a huge coward. I'm the type of person that will most likely want to run away from the slightest hint of danger. But I guess... [ he falls silent, closing his eyes as he thinks of what to say. ] I guess I've always felt like it's my duty to help others that are in need. So if I'm in this job, then I'm unable to run away. I'll have no choice but to help in any way that I can. Because that's my duty.

Strange that you're working for magi, then.
[like.
seriously, Romani?]

[ he laughs softly, giving rin a small smile. ]
But then again he wasn't a typical magus either, so I guess that's why. I don't regret it one bit, either.

You should probably get to bed soon, too. Just in case the skip wants to give us another rough awakening.
