Opinions without 3.1415 are just Onions (Week1 post trial)

After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Life goes on, regardless.

That may be what he thinks, yes. And for some, it may be true. But so long as we survive, we can overcome this.

What do you think we should try next week?

I suspect that the house is larger than what we can see. We should try searching the rooms and hallways again for trick doors, perhaps. They may lead to other sections of the house.

Trick doors...?

Doors that look like something else. For example, a bookcase that, if you pull on a certain book, reveals that it's actually a door.

...Do those things really exist?

[personal profile] notbymyside 2020-04-21 03:12 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yes, they are quite common indeed. Everyone loves a good 'secret room'.

[Hmm.]

I can try to find them too. We'll probably be investigating the new rooms again anyway.

[personal profile] notbymyside 2020-04-22 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
That seems likely. What we have found can't be the extent of this place.

I wonder if we'll see all of it before...

[She trails off, rethinking her words and shaking her head.]

...Nevermind. We should try to get out of here before we have the chance.

Agreed. Getting out should be our first priority. With proper resources, perhaps this house can be explored at a later time.

...Resources?

Other SCPs would be helpful in the containment of this site, I think.

[Ah. She nods.]

There should be... thaumiels that can help.

[Is that the right word? It didn't come up too often in her training, but she did hear it thrown around at times.]

Perhaps? I don't know any of them personally. Just normal agents, and then others like us.

It's something that people mentioned every so often. SCPs that can be used to contain others. I wonder if they'd consider using one on this.
