After everything, the house seems almost too still and too mundane. At least as long as the doors to that room remain closed. One by one those covered in what was once their teammate are lead to the showers or change in silence. There is no warm meal waiting for them. No words of encouragement.

Yes. He works at a detective agency and I work for the government, but we live in the same city. Our paths have crossed several times, due to our respective jobs.

It's just hard for him. 'Doing good' doesn't come naturally to him, he has to choose to do good. So praising him for that effort is important.
