RECORDING 2: THE FIRST MURDER

An entire week has passed, and nothing has happened. For a brief glimmer of time, it seemed like they wouldn't succumb. That they would be able to face down the Vessel, the Curse, and come out stronger on the other side.
....But when they wake up today, it's easy to feel the wrongness in the air. The sense of satisfaction from something lurking deep inside, pleased that it was fed...and pleased that finally, the killing had started.
As you all rise and look towards a new day, the faint traces of Miasma lap at your heels...
...And around whatever corpse now lingers in the hallways...
((OOC: 2 people max under a heading, please! Just to keep things easy on the mods.))

Can you blame it? It's a mass of distortions and warped SCPs all wrapped up in an immature cocky teenager.
[You're a cocky teenager too, Subete??]
It's barely sentient at this point. I wouldn't expect much more creativity.

...Well, I'll take it over the alternative. But couldn't it at least mind its own business when it comes to how we investigate?
[He's just grumpy he was being policed.]

Taking house rules to the extreme, I’d imagine. After all, it really has nothing better to do, unlike us.
[Technically they don’t have much better to do here and now either but it’s the principle of the whole picture, obviously.
He looks kind of amused at Date grumping.]

He sighs.]
I knew I should've brought a magazine...
[bribe your mm with porno mags, the real galaxy brain strategy]

There’s a bit of a laugh at the magazines because yeah the implications are pretty clear after Monday.]
Careful. You might break him again and he’ll start spouting whole different sets of rules.
[inb4 we break the MM and have a repeat of lightning round]

[Maybe if he kept it to a poetry jam he'd be more tolerable, honestly.]

[The real tragedy that they have to live with, clearly!!]

Hmm. Maybe it would be more unsettling if there actually were a rhyme or reason to it. You know? As far as I can tell, our host just enjoys throwing tantrums until he runs out of marbles.

I bet he just doesn't know how to refrain. Kids these days, I swear...
