RECORDING 2: THE FIRST WEEK

It's been two days since the doors locked....and only a day since the living room became completely impassable, with something lurking inside of it. Not only that, but due to the actions of those who went to investigate the strange event, Miasma now faintly lingers in the hallways - akin to the tiny clouds that were around camp, floating around aimlessly and clinging to whatever it can. Due to this, everyone is always in contact with it, in one way or another...and the start of curse is now inside nearly all of the Agents, save those lucky few able to either resist or somehow nullify it.
Though the effects are small, they still linger. Unease and negative emotions come quicker, and little fights here and there are much more likely to break out in the course of everyday life in this house.
Speaking of which, the temperature remains a consistent comfortable early to mid 70's in the house. It appears at least that you'll be here in comfort..? And look, you even have more space to use! Everything else seems to work as well, at least for now.
It might be in your best interests to wait, and try and find a way out later.
...Or maybe, that'll just invite disaster...?
Either way - for now...there's no escape.

He has an idea of what's going on here considering what he saw on Saturday, so time for unhelpful commentary. ]
You're missing the saru.

Hikage's not the first nor the last to pass by with commentary, complaints nor cajoling, but he does get a snort for how out of the blue it is.]
You know, the funny thing is, I don't think I've ever seen that particular sight in person. So I doubt I could recreate it even if I wanted to.
Assuming, of course, that I have the power of monkey at any point.
no subject
You've never seen a monkey before?
no subject
[You know what.
In lieu of an immediate response, there's a quick flash and a change in the shower stall's lighting -- then what seems almost like a breeze or perhaps just a quick shift in the billows of steam, the only warning before... a small splash of water pops out of the stall and flicks Hikage across the head.
'Cause really, that's about the level of response he deserves for that one.]
no subject
I don't see a monkey, so I'll take that as a no.
no subject
But at least there's no additional water punishment coming Hikage's way... for the moment.]
If you're going to bring up local sights, at least commit to it! Besides, there's already plenty of monkeys under this roof without anyone trying for any more.
[Is he really going to resort to technicalities while still resolutely hogging the place, he absolutely is. And no, there is no 猿 in evidence, still. If Hikage squints, though, he can make out the top of some other kind of writing over the shower stall door.]
no subject
Is commitment really the issue here? In that case I can grab an old man or two and really afford you the whole experience.
no subject
Getting clean and sparkly waits for no man or monkey.]
Hmph. I doubt there's anyone here old enough to fit the criteria, you know, so you should give up before you get in over your head.
[I don't know what's going on but there's an arch tone in his voice that is almost definitely exaggeration. Does anyone know what the criteria is here.]
no subject
[ Well he might as well make himself at home then, leaning back against the sink as he rolls up his sleeves. He's sans not-quite little red riding hood cloak today so he's only somewhat overdressed for shower talk. ]
no subject
How are you so certain that I'm the age I appear to be, hmm?
[It's probably a good thing he's not got his full ridiculous kaleidoscopic regalia about him because that shit would get hella heavy and damp in here. Next best thing to swimming in all your clothes, or maybe it's the bath experience he was looking for...?]
no subject
[ There's a beat before Hikage replies, his tone shifting to something crisper than normal. It's too bad there's billows of steam and whatever shower partition between them, because there might be something interesting to see with this shift, but alas. ]
I guess we can't be certain about each others age. There's not even our official profiles to infer from, what a pity.
