A surprise meeting...?

[On March 1st, no matter where you are, no matter what you're doing, your character will receive a notification:]

Something important has come up. Please meet me at Site 4 at 3pm local time. If you are unable to meet in person, you can conference call in.

[The notification also provides the details necessary to get in on the call.

For those who can arrive in person, there is a conference room with chairs situated in rows, not unlike a mission briefing room would be arranged. There is even a projector set up and hooked up to a computer, and a pair of cameras set up to record both the projector screen and the seating area. Frisk is also there, but they are busy setting up the video feeds and making sure everyone can patch in on the call. They are oddly focused, with a frown spread across their face and barely a glance spared at anyone who walks it.

If Frisk is taking things this seriously, then it must be important. So pull up a seat and get ready.]

Well, no, it had some part to do with it. We don't have the video feeds from inside the mansion, but we had plenty of cameras outside. And they recorded an...explosion, I guess? It didn't really damage any property, but it was like this HUGE surge or power. And after that, a barrier went up.

The barrier has traces of Tages' magic in it too, so we kind of assumed the team found Tages but stuff went to shit. And then people started judging the 6350s, since it looked like a whole team of them got Tages killed.

I still think he's alive, though. The barrier is still up, and I'm pretty sure magic like that would disappear if he was dead. But until you guys investigate it, nobody can say for sure.

Duh, that's the first thing we did with Mayuri when he showed up here. He said the barrier stopped him from seeing anything.

That's how it was 20 years ago, yeah. Nothing goes in, nothing goes out. We weren't even able to touch it.

It's been weakening in recent years, but nothing has breached it yet.

No point in trying to send a golem in then. But if it's lasted for this long there's gotta be something powering it.

You said for O5s you gotta know how their powers work, right? You got a file on what's-his-dick?

If it does have traces of his magic though, I might be able to track him down based on that. I have the ability to track people down based on their magic signatures.

Why would someone keep a barrier up if everyone is dead?
