Week 6, Saturday

[After a tense night and a quiet morning, everyone will get an email at 11 am. The email comes straight from MC.]

Meet me in the studio at noon.

[It's probably best to follow those instructions.

When they get to the studio, they will find that twelve podiums have been arranged in a semi-circle on the stage. Each person can take whichever one they want, they aren't assigned.

There is the box of prinny jurors once more, but this time the twelve prinnies seated there might look familiar. In addition, there is a new spot next to the prinnies where a single stool behind a small table is left empty.

Given that the seat John used previously is taken up by MC, John looks at the group awkwardly before going to sit on that stool.

It's time to begin the final trial.

Exactly. If his killer acted outside of their duties then I would think it should be handled internally by the Foundation, not as part of this Site's containment procedure and our 'test'.

...I agree. We are the only contestants, after all - was this not a test for us all along, MC?

Therefore, why does it matter if someone uninvolved with the game was killed on site? It would be the same as a death occurring amidst the staff.

This fucker just busted his way in, I was wonderin' why we were having this stupid trial in the first place other than you wanting to mess around with us.

[He's pretty sure MC just wanted to mess around with them.]

...I agree with Ingway.

We actually found a letter threatening Dazai - or rather, John because he hadn't killed. I'm-- I'm tired of seeing people die here.

I don't see why we need to play this game any longer. There's no need for another trial or execution.

...Well, I certainly believe that killing should be a last resort, and these trials have only one possible resolution, so...

I'm going to agree. I'm going to trust that since the Foundation already knows who the culprit is, they can handle things to ensure that the situation is taken seriously and that the culprit is punished appropriately.

...Though hopefully not in a way that involves more death. After all, killing someone in this case... Won't solve anything.

... Yeah. I agree with Ingway. A contestant wasn't killed, and I'm pretty sure a contestant didn't commit the act.

[like he said earlier; a farce]

Based on the rules, I think that's the only valid interpretation.

[She also doesn't think she sees the culprit listed as an option...]
