[After a tense night and a quiet morning, everyone will get an email at 11 am. The email comes straight from MC.]

When they get to the studio, they will find that twelve podiums have been arranged in a semi-circle on the stage. Each person can take whichever one they want, they aren't assigned.

There is the box of prinny jurors once more, but this time the twelve prinnies seated there might look familiar. In addition, there is a new spot next to the prinnies where a single stool behind a small table is left empty.

Given that the seat John used previously is taken up by MC, John looks at the group awkwardly before going to sit on that stool.

[Now that Vanitas has made a connection, MC seems interested in what he has to say.]

Is that so? Who saw me driving a jeep, exactly? And how does me driving a jeep connect me to all of this?

You would be amazed at all the things the prinnies see and share. Tell me, did you have fun at their tea party?

There were fresh tracks outside of the house in the morning and we can rule out it being the victim's since he was hanging around outside.

Wait, vehicles were already brought up during the last trial we had.

None of us could have summoned a jeep from the House because all we would get was toy cars. Hell, even trying to get a horse gave us a horse cake. The only possible way for anybody to have gotten a jeep is if it came from the outside.

...I wonder whether it would be plausible for someone to drive away and then come back on foot. We didn't actually see a jeep present, right?

I don't think we've seen evidence of anyone doing that except the victim, though...

If nobody came back on foot, then that means whoever drove the jeep away was still gone when we were investigating.

There's a few options here.

One: the jeep was used to drop someone off and they left, later coming back to kill Dazai.

Two: The jeep was present only during the time of the murder; it's less likely given the timestamp of Dazai's death, but depending on how close this place is to Site 4, then. Yeah, an hour to drive back isn't that terrible.

...that's right, jeeps can have passengers. How did I not think of that?

It's okay. My current thought leans more towards the first one than the second, but that option also means that Dazai, at some point, was cooperating with their killer.

. . . Although I couldn't tell you if he expected to get killed or not, considering how he is.

Well, it's just a theory and not the absolute truth: it might not be the answer; but I sure as hell would not be surprised if Dazai did that.

Oh... right. Inaba, didn't you say at the beginning of all this that Dazai is kind of... suicidal?

His reason for joining the mafia was so that he could find a reason to live. That there'd be something in it for him.

... so it's completely possible that he may be partially responsible for his own demise. After all, the Prinnies said his soul is still around, and kind of pissed about that.

The victim had a map to get to Site 4.

I mean he walked from Site 4 to the house. Dazai is crafty. He could find a way to get back hitch hiking or threatening people until he made it back. How he got here form South America isn't relevant to the case.

There weren't any tracks from the backyard to the parking lot. So we can also rule out the tire tracks belonging to the nerd over there.

At the very least, there's evidence that there was a jeep around at roughly the time the victim was killed, if I understand correctly. You must admit that's a little suspicious, don't you think?
