After that mess of a game on Saturday and the arrival of an unexpected guest, the house falls into an uneasy quiet for the rest of the weekend. Nobody else has come on site since the start of the game, barring the prinnies who come and go every day. What could this interruption mean? Dazai gives no indication that the game is over, and yet they weren't supposed to see anybody else until it was all finished. Dazai's nervousness surrounding the person known as 'Mission Control' might be concerning as well.

The rain stops sometime on Sunday night, but the air becomes humid and muggy. Luckily the house is air conditioned, but going outside is going to be miserable for a couple days until everything dries up. While the temperature remains a steady 75 degrees, the humidity is awful through Wednesday. Luckily it looks like the weather will be less miserable by the weekend, which might be what everyone needs. There's no telling what Saturday might bring.

Dazai had said the game would end 'soon', and signs are pointing towards it only lasting another week or two. But when will it really be over? Will everyone survive? And will they be able to bring back their dead friends? Only time will tell.

I will not send in more agents until I know all of the risks. Unfortunately, there are twelve of you and 100 people at site 4. Your twelve lives are not more important than all of theirs.

Once we have the information, however, we can make a plan of infiltration and secure the site without any casualties.

Do you think the extra person here is somehow responsible for some of our deaths?

No. We know who is responsible for that. The extra person is an unknown factor, and I will not risk my agents with an unknown factor unless we have no other choice.

And who would you consider to be responsible for the deaths?

Also, what risk do you think this person poses? It looks like your hypothesis is some kind of soul power?

Considering we're the ones on the ground, it would be appreciated to know what other dangers we might be facing to protect your agents.

We are well-versed in the powers of Shinigami. If this unknown person has similar powers, they could rip souls out of people's bodies at will.

So right now the current hypothesis is a shinigami?

Also, how were you able to tell? Did you notice a power being used like that?

Not a shinigami, but perhaps someone with similar powers.

And as for why we know that, that's classified.

I guess... if we know that they have soul-related powers, that's one more thing to go off of. Maybe Giriko or Nora could do something, since I don't really know what to look for if that's all we know.

They would be good options, yes. However, they have ignored this email.

So our chances of finding them are even lower...

I don't think I can handle those two myself. Especially Giriko.

What happens if we can't find this person? Are you going to wait until we're being killed again?

We will not delay indefinitely. Our current plans, should nothing else change about the situation, are to arrive on Tuesday of next week.

By then there would be... only two people left if that motive continues, correct?

Or one, if you came later in the day. So, as Dazai said, "until we have our winner."

We have other interventions planned.

[She allows her head to dip, forlorn.]

Please.

I don't want to see more people die.

But I don't know if we can do this.

We've already lost so many people.

I don't know how much longer we can last.

I am sympathetic, but I cannot act without that information.

You know what I need. If you can help me, this will end faster.

I think most of us are probably more worried about whose bright idea it was to kill us and is therefore proven to be dangerous, than some unknown factor who may not be dangerous at all.

That is a known factor, though. You know exactly who has been killing you.

Is that what he has been telling you? That he is the gun?

I don't personally think this was all his idea, no. He's from 6350 too, you know?

I cannot say everything at this point, but it will all make sense soon enough.

I just hope no one else dies between now and then.... sorry, though. I don't have any idea about who this other person could be, and "soul stuff" is way out of my purview. It sounds like Ellie may be onto something?

Currently she is our best lead. Hopefully it will provide the information we need.
