Week 6

After that mess of a game on Saturday and the arrival of an unexpected guest, the house falls into an uneasy quiet for the rest of the weekend. Nobody else has come on site since the start of the game, barring the prinnies who come and go every day. What could this interruption mean? Dazai gives no indication that the game is over, and yet they weren't supposed to see anybody else until it was all finished. Dazai's nervousness surrounding the person known as 'Mission Control' might be concerning as well.

The rain stops sometime on Sunday night, but the air becomes humid and muggy. Luckily the house is air conditioned, but going outside is going to be miserable for a couple days until everything dries up. While the temperature remains a steady 75 degrees, the humidity is awful through Wednesday. Luckily it looks like the weather will be less miserable by the weekend, which might be what everyone needs. There's no telling what Saturday might bring.

Dazai had said the game would end 'soon', and signs are pointing towards it only lasting another week or two. But when will it really be over? Will everyone survive? And will they be able to bring back their dead friends? Only time will tell.

[New prinny is startled and almost tips over, wobbling on its little peg legs.] N-- no, dood! Just cleaning! There's streaks on the walls, gotta be more careful, dood! [There's no streaks on the walls....]

... you're really kind, but it's a prinny's job to work hard, dood. [Quieter:] To pay for our sins.

[ oh.

that cuts deep, and she wonders if this specific prinny-- hm. ]

There are some things that one can't do alone.

[resortghosts]

Yeah, dood. That's why there's a lot of us. [The prinny waddles along, going through the motions of cleaning but not really doing much.] And there's still a bunch of you left. You gotta stick together and work hard too, dood.

[dereban]

. . . I hope you guys aren't making a tower of each other to get things done.

[ just

flatly saying that. ]

But I can try my best?

I don't think that's a good idea. We'd be too... unstable, dood. [The prinny shifts its weight from one peg leg to the other with soft taps, then bobs its beak in what must be a nod.] Trying your best is all we can ask for, dood.

Yeah, that's what I thought. . . which is why if you need help getting to higher places, I guess carrying is an option? At least, if I did it. Although I'm not the tallest person in the world.

[ she's here to help if she can. ]

Haha. I. . . guess? Hopefully 'our best' is enough.

The help would be nice, dood. But you don't have to trouble yourself, we're supposed to be helping you. And we're all rooting for you, so don't give up, dood.
