Week 5

With the Studio in shambles, it seems odd that the game would continue on. You would think that forces from site 4 would drop in and extract people, right? But no, not a peep is heard from them. The game continues on as it has for all the previous weeks, and there is no sign of it stopping.

The weather certainly matches the mood, though. By Monday morning, a light rain will start to fall, making the area damp and gloomy. People can go outside if they so wish, but they might want to don some raincoats and rain boots.

With power off at the studio, it is safe to assume that no cameras are on there. But what about the rest of the house? Will surveillance continue there? And what is everyone going to do about this balancing act of 'survive' and 'convince everyone you should be allowed to live'? How long will it be before everyone cracks from the pressure?

It's a shapeshifting weapon that changes forms to be more suitable for its wielder. Since I'm no good with swords at all, it became like this instead.

But yeah, I should be ready. Can we do this in the parking lot just to be safe, though?

[The House doesn't deserve to have to worry about fire from our spar.]

Huh, wouldn't've thought it was any kind of shapeshifter with just all those plants all over it, but whatever, least you didn't cut your hand off at some point.

[Nora spins his spear a little, bouncing it from hand to hand before leaning it back across his shoulders, taking another moment or two to size up the odd new staff. Then there's a shrug and he turns heel and just starts moving in general direction of the parking lot.]

An' you could probably use the reach. ['cause she's tiny, which apparently does not deter him from beating her up......] What, you ain't got good control over your spells or something?

[Yeah, she'll also head over there, still talking as she does so.]

From what I can tell, the weapon itself seems to be shaping the magic. So I'm getting more powerful attacks, but I don't have as free control of the magic as I'd like, and from what I experienced when I fought it, a lot of these abilities tend to hit an area.

Well, maybe it will become easier to mix things together once I have more experience, but...

Eh, that's about how my magic works too. Hitting an area, I mean, an' being real destructive even though I've got control over 'em just fine.

[Mostly. He does seem pretty confident in his magic skills, at least when it comes to straight up attacks, and there's a spring in his step when he talks about magic. Despite his brawling and brawny nature he's still very much a hella mage at his core, he just doesn't use staves.

Once they arrive at the parking lot he's immediately going to battle stance, lance pointing directly at her.]

Hmph, experience is fine, but we'll see if you can get anything done with that thing! All weapons, all magic, all the time!!

[Rushing in?? What else would he do.]
