Week 5

With the Studio in shambles, it seems odd that the game would continue on. You would think that forces from site 4 would drop in and extract people, right? But no, not a peep is heard from them. The game continues on as it has for all the previous weeks, and there is no sign of it stopping.

The weather certainly matches the mood, though. By Monday morning, a light rain will start to fall, making the area damp and gloomy. People can go outside if they so wish, but they might want to don some raincoats and rain boots.

With power off at the studio, it is safe to assume that no cameras are on there. But what about the rest of the house? Will surveillance continue there? And what is everyone going to do about this balancing act of 'survive' and 'convince everyone you should be allowed to live'? How long will it be before everyone cracks from the pressure?

she knows the House is baby and wants them all to be nice but. House. no. this isn't something you bring up in public ]

This isn't something you just--I don't get how it would have...helped...

It doesn't.

To be honest, I'm hoping to get a cake after I get some with Atsushi just to see the look on his face.

[ and then Azura just laughs, a little bit too much because this situation is too much but Inaba being herself is always amusing and--right, Inaba's...really got that high thirst level, too, doesn't she? ]

The one waiting for you back home, I presume? You know there's a chance he can hear this conversation, right?

[ waving to the nearest camera. hi beastsoosh. ]

Well, I wouldn't call that place "home".

site 2 is just... another prison. a better prison than this, but still one nevertheless. she does find herself laughing a bit, in that kind of sheepish sort of manner. ]

A part of me hope he is, and a part of me hope he isn't.

[ her smile seems a little sad, and for good reason. Saturday was probably not great. ]

To be honest, he'd probably get embarrassed by the cake. . .but still eat it anyway.

I see, I see, you're the type of person who gets delight out of embarrassing her loved ones. [ to be fair, so is Azura, in certain situations ] I can see that. Does he devour as much food as this one does?

[ "does", present tense. she refuses to believe that they won't see the dead proper, again. it's too despairing not to. ]

Aha. . .caught me.

[ she sticks her tongue out a little playfully. ]

They have that in common, yeah. Our room's fridge is practically almost all chazuke. He likes eating a lot to the point where you could give him a buffet and he would still eat more.

Chazuke? He seems to like that one in particular quite a bit.

[dereban]

Yeah. Have you ever tried it before? It's not that bad.

A few times. My sister enjoys that kind of food, so I've had it with her, before.

[dereban]

. . . your sister?

[ curious eyebrow raise ]

Hinoka, my older sister, yes. She, ah...hasn't ever truly grasped the art of cooking, so she tends to like dishes she can actually prepare.

[dereban]

. . . Ah.

Chazuke's one of the easier dishes to make, too.

[ i mean if inaba's wondering why azura's sister is japanese and she is not, the floor is open-- ]

I can see why Atsushi likes it. There's something nice about food you can just throw together and have whenever you want.

[dereban]

Yeah.

[ she laughs a bit ] Not to mention that it's pretty cheap, actually.
