Week 5

With the Studio in shambles, it seems odd that the game would continue on. You would think that forces from site 4 would drop in and extract people, right? But no, not a peep is heard from them. The game continues on as it has for all the previous weeks, and there is no sign of it stopping.

The weather certainly matches the mood, though. By Monday morning, a light rain will start to fall, making the area damp and gloomy. People can go outside if they so wish, but they might want to don some raincoats and rain boots.

With power off at the studio, it is safe to assume that no cameras are on there. But what about the rest of the house? Will surveillance continue there? And what is everyone going to do about this balancing act of 'survive' and 'convince everyone you should be allowed to live'? How long will it be before everyone cracks from the pressure?

[ she is grateful this cake didn't show up at the meeting, though. could you even imagine? akira's confession and then sex cake. she may have actually passed out from stress. ]

...it was a strange occurrence. I hadn't had a single conversation with Ingway until our host directed me to speak with him. I suppose exorcising someone's inner beast is a decent conversation starter.

[ so there's her admitting it was ingway.......as though it would be anyone else ]

[Karen is exactly as surprised as one would expect, which is to say, not at all. She nods, not that Azura can see.]

When you do something that significant for someone, you're not likely to just walk away from each other afterward.

It wasn't anything physical like that. ...physical isn't what I mean.

It's possible to try to gain that ability, and come close, but fail.

I'm how we found that out.

No, it was at home. Really at home, actually. I'd only just learned that Precure even existed.

[prayerwheel]

[ a nod ]

And I assume something quite unfortunate occurred?

[oceanicbutterfly]

[Nods back.]

The butterfly disappeared. ...that doesn't explain anything, does it? But essentially, the power of Cure Aqua acknowledged me, but rejected me. And it was right when the others were fighting a losing battle, and the arrival of a fifth Precure would have turned the tide.

Were the others alright, eventually? [ azura this is precure they're always alright ]

And why...did it reject you? [ said softly, because that's likely a very personal question ]

They were, but the enemy got away with the Pinky. The only reason we got it back was because he was an idiot and brought it back later to taunt us. [No explanation for what a Pinky is, apparently.]

It's hard to be entirely sure, but Coco thought it was because I didn't really want it. [No explanation of who Coco is, either.] I was just doing it because someone needed me to do it.
