Week 5

With the Studio in shambles, it seems odd that the game would continue on. You would think that forces from site 4 would drop in and extract people, right? But no, not a peep is heard from them. The game continues on as it has for all the previous weeks, and there is no sign of it stopping.

The weather certainly matches the mood, though. By Monday morning, a light rain will start to fall, making the area damp and gloomy. People can go outside if they so wish, but they might want to don some raincoats and rain boots.

With power off at the studio, it is safe to assume that no cameras are on there. But what about the rest of the house? Will surveillance continue there? And what is everyone going to do about this balancing act of 'survive' and 'convince everyone you should be allowed to live'? How long will it be before everyone cracks from the pressure?

My negative feelings are directly related to being a penguin, dood. Can't help that, dood.

It was annoying before, dood, but now it's also a lot of effort. Dood.

Guess I honestly can't blame you. He sure did a number on this place. I'd be honestly exhausted by now if I were you.

We are exhausted, dood. The others are here to work off a soul debt, but even they are frustrated, dood. After so much effort was put into the studio, too, dood...

[ Prinny sighing here. ]

Not surprised.

Hopefully we can have a break after all of this.

The rest of the prinnies will have to continue working elsewhere, I assume, dood.

And the same goes for us, dood. A normal containment doesn't sound bad now, dood.

[ This prinny may be a workaholic. ]

I wonder what kind of work it'll be.

[ she sighs. ]

I haven't been on a proper mission in a while without it going to hell. I don't think I can trust the word "safe" ever again. But this all just means that all the paperwork needs to get looked at over again, and someone's gotta do it.

[ she is so ready to go back to site 2. ]

The missions I usually go to aren't safe to begin with, dood. Which is actually preferable because that means the actual agents on the mission get to pick the method to minimize casualties, dood.

It's our job after all, dood.

Ah, I guess. . . I just can't really handle dangerous missions myself. I'm just an ordinary high school teenager, after all. Which is why I get delegated to paperwork duty.

Not the front lines work.

That's a good thing, dood. Meanwhile doing dangerous containments has been my career all along, dood, so I'd really appreciate if they just let me do my job.

This amount of meddling is bothersome and ineffective, dood.

I guess for you it's just. . . easier because you're used to it.

[ she laughs a little. ]

I do understand, though, since I've been on that side of things before. Did you get anything out of it, at least?
