Week 1: Slumber Party Mingle

[ After getting permission on the staff, they take over the lounge. Futons, blankets, sleeping bags, and pillows are all dragged out into the middle of the room. Time to build a fort, guys!

Or come to the Lounge to find it made and everyone chilling out. There's hot chocolate and snacks! ]

[ Hm. She's not really that interested, but she can't deny that there's something at least a little bit appealing about the idea of challenging someone in a """duel""" instead of being its prize, even if it's a dumb bullshit one like this. ]

All right. I'll play it.

[Luckily, she doesn't need people to be fascinated first off, just actual opponents that aren't her wrist AI. It makes a difference! Even with ickle beginners like you lot.]

Great! I think you're going to be an interesting opponent, Himemiya-san.

[She's got the poker face down pat. Maybe Chu-Chu can have his own deck, too. Dueling monkeys would not, in fact, be the strangest thing that's ever happened in card games hell.]

Do you have your tablet with you? I just need to get it on there and configured properly.

Do you think so? Thank you.

[ She smiles graciously -- even if "interesting" isn't necessarily the most flattering compliment -- then gives a nod as she reaches for her tablet. ]

Yes, it's right here.

[ Hands it over!!! Hook her up, kid. ]

[The way Blue Angel means it, it's absolutely a compliment -- there's the duelist's character and then there's the duelist's caliber, and then there's just the combination of the two that determines how challenging and worth dueling the duelist actually is. It's a whole algorithm, natch.]

Okay, leave it to me!

[She's gotten a teensy bit of practice at this prior to the slumber party, so it takes her but moments to get Anthy hooked up!]

It should have some tutorials, but I can always help explain more of the basics. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of deck you build, too.
